So good! The bikes are in very good condition. If you have never been on a mountain bike (like me) they will teach you and go for a practice lap with you. Lots of stops along the way, the adjust to your needs and your fitness. You will get a lot of interesting information about the area and Nepal and the guide will answer every question you might have. A lot of good views along the way.

It has been over a year and three months since I embarked on my journey to Aussie's land for higher studies, leaving behind the familiarity of home. I can vividly recall the bittersweet day when my mother bid me a tearful goodbye. Memories were all I carried with me, packed tightly in my bag.

But amidst the whirlwind of change, there is one memory that stands out—the memory of cycling. I remember the empowering words of Asis dai echoing in my mind: 'Babu, delve deep into your heart and let it speak. I see potential in you, and it's time for you to witness it yourself.' And so began my journey, woven together with Asis dai and his passion for cycling at the 'Panauti Bike Station.'

Ever since I was young, I held an insatiable curiosity for understanding others, exchanging ideas, and immersing myself in different ways of life. And being in a land rich with diverse cultures and traditions, my hunger for exploration was never satisfied.

That's where Asis dai and his team took me under their wings, placing a camera and a bicycle in my eager, toddler-like hands, and setting me free amidst the vibrant tapestry of Panauti's cultural landscape. As the wheels turned and the pedals pushed, I discovered hidden treasures along the way. I found myself gliding through ancient alleys, where the aromas of local delicacies filled the air, and colorful prayer flags fluttered overhead, carrying prayers to the heavens.

With each twist and turn, I immersed myself in breathtaking landscapes that seemed straight out of a dream. From the majestic mountaintop of Chamkharka, I felt as though I was racing against the wind itself, a triumphant conqueror of nature's challenges. The tall hills of Namobuddha may have stood before me, but they couldn't quell my determination. With every ascent, I pushed my limits and embraced the stunning views that rewarded my efforts.

And when I crossed the sturdy suspension bridge of Khopasi, I could feel the bridge connecting more than just two shores. It was a bridge between my past and my present, between the yearning for home and the thrill of new horizons. Each creak of the bridge beneath my tires resonated with the courage and resilience that brought me here.

Throughout my journey, I discovered that the Panauti Bike Station wasn't just about cycling; it was a gateway to self-discovery and personal growth. Asis dai's contagious passion for his craft inspired me to unleash my own creativity. With my camera in hand, I captured the stories of the people I met—hardworking farmers tending to their fields, kind-hearted locals sharing tales of ancient traditions, and smiling children waving with infectious joy.

In the end, it wasn't just the landscapes and the experiences that made Panauti Bike Station special—it was the bonds formed, the shared laughter, and the moments of vulnerability exchanged between fellow adventurers. Asis dai's vision of bringing people together through the love of cycling became a reality, and I'm forever grateful to have been a part of it.

Leaving behind my memories packed with me, I now carry a heart brimming with gratitude and a longing to return. Panauti Bike Station, with its spirited team and the tireless spirit of Asis dai, will forever hold a cherished place in my journey of self-discovery and exploration.

During my stay at a location of Community Homestay Network I joined Panauti Bike Station for a mountain bike tour in the countryside, crossing rice fields, climbing hills and passing temples and the old town of Panauti. I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent state of the Trek mountain bikes. Thank you @prabesbista for taking me along!
