I took my Mom in August of 2022 to the Cross in the woods. Its very breathtaking and it makes you realize how much more bigger God really is. To see Jesus hanging on that cross makes you realize the sacrifice that was made for us. I did not like the signs that say The Man on the cross, we all know that's Jesus? If you take God out of everything you have nothing. Look at the world around us right now. Look at all the chaos around us, lets call it what it is. I was very disappointed to see this and very offended. I hope those signs are changed because the Man on the cross is Jesus Christ and that's who I believe in!

We weren't planning on stopping at Cross in the Woods when we were planning our trip. However, it seemed like such a peaceful place to spend some time as we drove by that we stopped. The Stations of the Cross are laid out through a wooded area that lead to the base of the cross. It has been created in a simple, tasteful manner that allows one to spend as much time as wanted. I was moved by the Holy Stairs.
