A very good museum about Kennedy when he was growing up in Hyannis. They had alot of interesting facts about him in there.Interesting to go see and learn about Kennedy.

This was the first time here for both my wife and I and we came away unimpressed and disappointed. I felt like this was paying homage to the public persona of JFK and the family and their idyllic life in Hyannis. If you didn't have knowledge of the Kennedy family, you might easily leave this museum thinking they were a wonderful happy family who enjoyed summers on the Cape. There are darker stories to the Kennedy family, but we didn't see any of that here.
Additionally, the museum is small and doesn't have much in the way of artifacts. The displays are mostly pictures and videos. There is very little in the way of Kennedy memorabilia here (which makes you wonder why the family down the road can't find a few more items to donate to the collection). It makes the $14 admission price seem pretty high.
If you know nothing of JFK, then you will leave with more knowledge than you came with. If you were captivated by the Camelot mystique and JFK, then you will probably enjoy this. If you have a bit more than a passing knowledge, I'm not sure you will gain much additional here. If you understand the mixed history of the family, then you are likely to leave like us - feeling it was more a tribute than an educational experience.

We really enjoyed the self guided tour. It was centred not only on JFK but the whole Kennedy family and their time at Hyannisport which made it very interesting. Content is videos and photographs. There was a section devoted to Robert Kennedy and another to Jackie. Worth a visit.

Nice little museum ! I and friends of mine spent time in Hyannis for visiting family couple weeks ago and we stop by to this museum and we enjoyed it !

We enjoyed the museum. It was very interesting even though I already knew a lot about the Kennedy's. There is free parking behind the building. It is well worth the time to explore.

I was a child when JFK was President and have childhood memories of him. As an adult, I loved walking through this museum and reliving the Kennedy era. Importantly, the museum is not just geared to those of us who were alive in the 60's. The exhibits are thoughtful and thought provoking. I especially liked the time line that tracks JFK from announcing his bid for the Presidency to the sad day he was buried. The museum is conveniently located on Main Street and a visit can easily fit into a day out in Hyannis.

One think I really liked was free parking behind the building n restrooms. The museum has more in it then the size of the building looks like. Loaded with family history

Fabulous museum. Staff so friendly and helpful and informative. A wonderful experience. Learned so much more about JFK. We were on a family holiday from Ireland in the cape and took time out to visit which was very worthwhile.

If you are a fan of JFK and the Kennedy Family, this is a must-see while in Hyannis. We were lucky enough to see JFK's oval office rocking chair on exhibit this summer. The musseum mainly displays a collection of photos and information, and has a nice souvenier shop. It is in a great central location and is easily accessed. Staff are very friendly. Worthwhile.

Spent a hour at the JFK museum in Hyannis. Nice photos-not a lot to see. Interesting history but the museum is small. 14 dollars is a little steep considering how much time it took to go through. There are some relics but if you have been to the jfk library in Boston there is not much new learned here.
Would give 3.5 stars.

They are also very easy to talk to when you arrive. I saw them work out a deal for a family that had a disabled veteran and they had a limited budget. It is worth visiting.

Other than going to the downstairs Baseball museum. Are there many stairs? My elderly father can't do stairs. I didn't see anything about how handicapped accessible the building is. thanks
