No beach!!!
Jul 2019 • Sendiri
I have been here once before, and I absolutely loved it. Due to high tide the beach has just about disappeared. I arrived a half hour after opening and I could not sit, unless I wanted to be right on top of someone else. There is almost no sun, and you go from the walkway to the water! They should be warning people of the small beach at this time!

Beautiful Sebago Lake Beach
Agt 2018
Across from busy Rt 302 shopping strip there is a gem of a beach. The water is clear and the park is well taken care of. Each "spot" has a picnic table, a grill, and it can be pretty private, depending on where you end up. The beach is the home to the friendliest ducks in Maine. They will sit on your blanket if you let them and eat from your hand. There are changing rooms and portapotties and trails and a pay phone. It's $6/adult or $95 for a year pass.

Not sure why you have to pay for swimming here
Jul 2015 • Sendiri
Tassle Top Park is a beach on Sebago Lake. I'm not sure why you have to pay to go here. Personally if I'm going to pay I'd just drive a few miles down the road, and go to Sebago State Park Beach.

Nice little beach
Jul 2015 • Keluarga
This beach is a nice little spot in the summer with clean sand and easy parking. You can bring your own food and drinks but if you need anything they have little shop with ice cream , water , soda kids toys . They also have rest rooms 30 feet from the water so no need to worrie about finding a bathroom when needed . We have never rent a cabin but you can and have your own private beach

First and last time going here!
Agt 2015 • Keluarga
Dead bugs all along the shore line and in the water. Kids came out with bugs on them near there neck and on there body. There less then 26 minutes. No refund on cost to get in but more concerning was the woman Donna at the gate said there were no bugs. Then she said it was a yearly thing maybe it was something to do with the bugs life cycle and the winds and rough waters today. Either way called Sue and left messages a couple times in concern and no one called back either. Could have acted like they cared. Kuds bathing suits when changing had bugs in them!! If this is yearly dont go end of August at least and go to Sebago Lakes Park they at least seem caring there.

A nice sandy beach...
Jul 2015 • Keluarga
Tassel Top Park offers one of the nicest swimming areas on Sebago Lake. For us, there is only one good kind of 'nice swimming area'. It must have a sandy beach with ample room to lie on towel/blanket. It must also have sand underfoot from water's edge, gradually extending out until the water is over my 6-foot head. Tassel Top meets the first of these criteria pretty well. However, the water level of the lake has risen significantly in recent years. There are patches of sandy beach, but much of what was formerly beach has been covered by water. Those patches are usually taken by late morning. The second criteria is met perfectly. The entire 900 foot waterfront is cordoned off by a rope line of buoys that extends about 100 feet from shore. Sand is under all that water! There are no lifeguards here.

There is ample parking in the lot located on the hill that plateaus above the beach. It is a lengthy walk up/down but there is a drop-off/pickup area at the bottom of the hill by the path leading to the beach. Only the driver has to make the trip!

Tassel Top has several additional advantages: ample shaded areas, grills and picnic tables/areas; bathrooms and changing areas; a small store/snack bar, friendly staff.

There are fees! $3 for seniors; $4 for adults (11-64); $2 for kids (2-10); $0 for 14 month old grandsons.

Small Family Beach on Sebago Lake
Jul 2014 • Pasangan
Tassel Top was a small, 35-acre (14 ha) family-friendly town park and town beach on the eastern shore of Sebago Lake. It boasted 980 feet (298 m) of narrow, sandy beachfront. Tall white pines shaded much of the beach. The swimming area was marked off to keep boats out. There was no lifeguard. Picnic tables were near the beach. If visitors tired of the beach, there was an easy half-mile (0.8 km), well-marked nature trail through the woods. Trail maps were at the trailhead. Parking was in two gravel lots. A snack shed was at the lower parking lot. A day pass was $4 per person ages 11-64. We liked most the clean beach sand; we liked least the lack of sunny space on the very narrow beach.
