What a find in 2021 - Secluded beach enveloped by small cliffs. Cliffs are actually fossilised wood , amazing to see and touch something from prehistoric Ireland.
Beach is a great size and spotlessly clean , sea is perfect for a quick dip or longer swim.
Spent our day here and didn't want to leave.

On our way to Hook lighthouse, we stopped here.and caught the last rays of sunshine before Hurricane Lorenzo landed. Very peaceful place.

What an amazing spot for family and friends and dogs.
It's a beautiful secluded little cove that is well worth the steep, rocky decline. It's the return incline that's the hard part but still worth it.
We had a wonderful day swimming, sunbathing and playing fetch and that was just the dog!!
The only downside is parking. There is space for four cars max. Luckily we never experienced this as it seems to be a hidden gem.
Note: If you're looking for a long meander down the beach, this is not the beach for you. It's a very small cove.

Seriously not worth stopping. Yes it's a nice beach but it's not worth the hassle. The only way in is via a narrow road & at the end there's no actual car parking. The path to the beach is rough, uneven & steep. I met another family at this spot & they said Booley (not sure if spelt right) bay, it's further up the road towards Loftus Hall & seemingly is better for parking etc. We didn't get time to check it out.

Stopped off here on our way around the Hook. Limited parking but lovely area. A somewhat steep walk down to the beach but once there chance to enjoy the peace and quiet and soak up the scenery.

The beach is beautiful, secluded and Sandy. The only issue I would have is there is only parking for two cars. If you do happen to drive down the hill and both carpark spaces are taken you have to reverse back up the hill.

When you are at Dollar Beach you have to go to the Lighthouse! A beautiful spot with very impressive cliffs! When hyou are in the county of Wexford: visit it!!

What a find. Secluded, empty and just plain beautiful. Not that you need to escape from anything in Wexford but if you did, this would be the place to go and relax.

Wonderful beach. Gorgeous cove. A little hidden gem. Beware of steep hill and parking. Great story attached as told by tour guide in Loftus hall just a few miles along the road

Came here as it was close to the house we rented, perfect spot as it was sheltered from noise and we luckily got parking. There is a relatively steep walk down from the road to the actual beach so just a heads up to anyone who may find it difficult to walk hills.
