If I could give 10 stars I'd give 11.
Just back from an incredible retreat with Niamh & Liam. We stayed in the cabin in the secret garden and from that first hug from both of them as they greeted us we had not one bad thingto say.
The cabin is cute, cosy, comfortable, private. Lovely little touches like oat milk, fresh bread & sweeties.
Nestled litterly in the secret garden we actually missed the cabin when we first arrived. The only downside is we weren't available to stay on the second night.
This morning we met at the beach for 8am yoga & ot was amazing, I've never done beach yoga & we were blessed with the sunshine and calm winds. Melting i to the sand, listening to the waves lapping & Niamhs gentle calming voice it was just what the doctor ordered. As the session wound down, Liam done a breathing session with us & a butterfly appeared & landed on my bottle & then hung around while we had breakfast from the cafe. I'm going to take it as a message for me ❤️
Off to the Hook for a guided hike. Let me say, you think you know the area, the light house but my days Liam & Niamh had a story for everything. the history behind every step from Hook to Slade & back again.
The dip at Solomons Boat was just magical. A hidden treasure for sure.
If you do one thing in wexford as a visitor or as a resident, visit livin off the hook.

An excellent tour of a beautiful locale with something for all ages. Kids loved following the map and the hunting for fossils. Liam was an excellent tour guide interacting with everyone and full of knowledge, lore and obvious passion for the region. We have been coming to the Hook for forty years and still learned loads seeing it through new eyes. Definitely recommend!

Liam was extremely educated locally and the tour was fascinating! Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting or even those who are there already.

Liam's tour is an absolutely fascinating trip around a historic area. The amount of information and local knowledge Liam has is astounding and I learned a huge amount, even though I would be familiar with the area. He brings the local stories and history to life and I would definitely recommend the tour highly

This really is a tour of a lifetime delivered by a passionate local who clearly demonstrates a love for the place he grew up. The tour starts at the Hook lighthouse where Liam begins his fascinating tour through the history of the Hook. Liam really seems to enjoy sharing old stories about the Hook and has so many interesting facts that kept me engaged throughout the tour. He truly knows every nook and every rock along the way. I would say it is suitable for most ages and I consider it a must if visiting the area.

Good for both locals & tourists. Liam is very knowledgable about the area & you get the benefit of his previous experience as tour guide of the lighthouse. There are some styles to get over so if you have mobility issues discuss with Liam in advance. Good value for money. Great views a given.

I have been going to the Hook since I was a child and I know a little bit about the area but I have to say I found Liam’s walking tour so interesting. He has an in-depth knowledge of the locality and is someone you could talk to all day. I learnt so much interesting and fascinating information about the peninsula that I never knew. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is visiting the area or if you live locally. I am fascinated by the I story and folklore of the area I spent my childhood summers at, Liam’s walking tour has made want to find out a more about this beautiful little gem.

As a local I've walked the Hook loop numerous times. On Liams tour I realised lots of things I'd walked passed and never noticed. From history to archaeology to folklore Liam has something for everyone's interest. Liam is personable, knowledgeable and good craic. I'd highly recommend this tour.

Learning about an artificial blowhole constructed to fight sea erosion under the lighthouse. Seeing an old lime kiln and hearing about how lime was made on the peninsula. The stonework inside the salting house at Slade. The enjoyment of a walking tour and the views along the coast.

Liam is a fantastic guide - having grown up on the peninsula makes Liam an exceptional tour guide with a wealth of local knowledge, current & historical. I am a regular walker of this route & the guided tour makes me now appreciate & enjoy the breathtaking views even more! Highly recommend for locals & visitors. It was so chilled & relaxed - We all Loved it!!
