Ali organized a seamless hike up Mount Rinjani for my family. The porters and guide were excellent! Everything was well coordinated and the food was plentiful. Thank you Ali!

I booked the 2N/3D Rinjani Trek with Ali Tours and I can highly recommend them. They are very professional and everything is so well organized (pick-up, transfers, equipment etc.) Ali picked me up in Kuta and explained everything the night before and made sure I was ready for the hike. My guide Adi and the two porters Pin & Anto were just amazing and did such a great job. I am so in awe of what they are doing. They spoilt me with incredible delicious food.
As I did the tour solo Adi was very focused on me and was ready whenever I was. So there was no waiting for others. (If you are not on a very tight budget I recommend doing the tour private). The ascent to the summit of Mt. Rinjani is so unique and the view up there is incredible. I had such a great and funny time hiking with Adi. Merci beaucoup Adi for everything! ;-)

We had an unforgetttable experience climbing Rinjani! Everything was organized perfectly and we were so happy that Ali even wanted to drop us off in Kuta after hiking. Furthermore, we had an amazing time with our guide Adi and the incredible porters. Their kindness, wiligness, cooking skills and strength are unbelievable. Overall, our expierience was way beyond our initial expectations. Thanks so much to Ali, Adi and team for this one in a lifetime experience.

We had an amazing time climbing Rinjani with Ali Trekking. The trek was perfectly organized from start to finish and we had such a wonderful time with our guide Adi and the incredible porters. We were so impressed by the porters strength to carry all of our resources up the mountain and also by their excellent cooking on camping stoves! Thanks so much to Ali, Adi and team for an unforgettable experience.

My partner and I booked with Ali Trekking and were so happy the entire time. Everyone on the team was friendly and lovely to be around. The porters are just incredible we were speechless, the food was amazing and creative, each meal so different. Our guide made us feel safe and cared for. We knew we were in good hands at all times. It was so special doing it as a small group - it is an extremely challenging hike and if you can afford to do it in a small group I highly recommend (not waiting around etc). They also pick up, drop off and put you up in a little homestay/hotel the night before. Just all round amazing! Thanks Ali and team so much :)

A challenging adventure under Ali team : Adi the guide & Pin the strong porter & cook. The planning, logistics, food & lodging are superb. They took care of my capabilities & age. Despite the cold,pain, unsteady footing, weak balance, fear of blown off the cliff, strong howling wind...& with strong encouragement by Adi & other hikers...& with mind & grit & perseverance .... i inched slowly & conquered Rinjani at 7.30am. Is my greatest 59th year achievement.

When we booked this activity for my 50th birthday, we were clearly not aware of what we were up for.😅 But no regrets and although it was so so tough and challenging, we made it to the Summit. All thanks to Ali Trekking for this awesome and euphoric experience! His wonderful Team, Jus, Adi and Mahir, (JAM) were very hospitable and took care of us throughout this arduous trek. Each of them contributed to making this journey so memorable.
Till today, I am amazed at their resilience when carrying the load of about 25kg to 30kg each, filled with tents, stools, food and water, etc., for cooking, and being able to trek up the steep gradients (in slippers😱 ) without showing any signs of fatigue. And they were fast!
Loved ALL the food they cooked with whatever little facilities they had , and my favourite was the Goreng Pisang😍!
Really enjoyed the entire stay at the Bed & Breakfast they put us up in, as well as the campsite they set up for us.
Just take note that toilet facilities are not always readily available. And you might find litter from time to time thrown by irresponsible trekkers, but Jus was seen constantly picking up whatever trash he saw along the way from the mountain.👍🏻

My husband and I signed up for the 3D2N hike and was guided by Adi and supported by 2 porters, Nur and Hen. As I did not have much trekking experience, I was overwhelmed by the difficulty of the hike after day 1. Adi was open and proactive in discussing options with us (i.e. extending another night or changing route) which eventually led to a different but more scenic route: sembalun > senaru > torean. Adi was patient as I took much longer to descend and helped me whenever I needed a hand. Our porters, Nur and Hen also made sure our tents are prepared whenever we arrived at our camp location, and all meals were made very tasty. Only minor issue was that the zip of the tent was not working well. Other than that, Adi and team was very accommodating. We finished the last day of hike at 7.30pm and Ali helped to arrange for chartered boat to Gili air for us as the last public ferry is until 5pm. Cost was steep as we were told it was the only chartered boat available due to choppy seawaters but nevertheless it was made smooth and convenient for us until the very end.
Overall it was an unforgettable experience, being treated with stunning views and the satisfaction of overcoming the challenge of the 3D2N trek! would not have been possible without Adi and team

Ali went above and beyond to ensure that our trip was perfect. We did the 3D2N Mt Rinjani hike and thought it was great value for money. Everything was so easy to organise with Ali and his communication over WhatsApp was so quick, clear and informative. The food was delicious and Ali’s team were all fantastic. When we accidentally left a phone in the car Ali went out of his way to drive to the airport and make sure we got it back. Would 100% recommend this company and travel with them again.

One of the greatest hiking experience so far but it was more challenging than we excepted. I recommend good trecking shoes.
The views, the location and the food were just amazing. We wouldn’t have been able to do it without the sweet and helpfull guide Justin. Special shut out to our porters Murti and Rahman, who were really fast and cooked the amazing food. We really recommend to do the 3 days, 2 nights tour to see everything on the volcano!
