If you are looking for the comfort of a hotel with private bathroom in the room and air conditioning you can certainly find the structure that's right for you in Lubuan Bajo. My wife and I discarded the comfortable and pre-digested solutions of daily and multi-day tours around Komodo which in our opinion did not give the opportunity to see calmly and enjoy a truly intense experience. With the help of our tour operator in Java we found this property which offers a house plan with 4 small rooms and a shared living room and bathroom. We were alone and we made use of the entire floor to ourselves. The place is simple but very clean and we felt part of the owner's family, with his wife cooking truly delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner (better than the restaurants in Java and Bali we tried).
The owner is also a park ranger and can organize a myriad of excursions on foot and by boat... 200 meters from the village you can admire magnificent Komodo dragons accompanied by rangers.
All excursions (Padar, Pink Beach, Long Beach, Manta Point, walking tours on the Island) are more easily accessible and at a much lower cost than from Lubuan Bajo and above all only for you!
