Howdy! Go to Tombstone and play dress up for a day with your hat and boots. Emerse in the historical accounts of the town too tough to die and drink at the saloons and shope the unique stores on Allen street. You will create bonfide Western memories.

Enjoyed the step back in history. I went very early in the morning prior to many businesses being open. Great time great take time pictures.

Not many people there, but it was after 5pm when I arrived. Didn't realize a lot of places close at 5 so couldn't do much except walk Allen street. Several restaurants remain open until later.

Allen street is closed to vehicle traffic and is a dirt road with the cutest horse and carriages up and down. There are many saloons, shops, and museums in tour up and down this street. Most cost money and in the spring, many closed by 5pm.

This is a cool street. Too bad it is only original (or at least close to original) for 3 small blocks. Nevertheless, you get to enjoy the shops, restaurants, cafes, and attractions present here. We enjoyed it.

Enjoyed the saloons, and history of Tombstone. Highly recommend a ghost tour. Unfortunately weather was bad so many places closed early, but was still fun. Definitely only an afternoon visit. It’s small and you can see all the good stuff in just a couple hours.

This is what you come to Tombstone for! It’s basically a big tourist trap, but it is reasonably well done, with an interesting history. Make sure to take in a re-enactment of the shoot-out at the OK Corral, have a drink at Big Nose Kate’s or the Crystal Palace and high-tail it home before they roll up the sidewalks!
We took the trolley ride around town that gave a lot of history about the key buildings, and the folks who lived…and died here that was helpful in planning our further explorations!

Spent two days seeing all there was to see.
It's TOMBSTONE!
There's plenty to do and plenty to see.
They don't do gunfights in the street, but you can get your picture taken with The Earps and Doc Holliday.
They have some very cool gift shops, and plenty of shows, day and night. Ghost tours.

I love Allen Street. So much to see and do in such a small stretch of road. Fun shops, lots of history, plenty of places to eat and get drinks, many little museums…don’t miss it!

Hi, I'm thinking of flying into Tucson and driving down to Tombstone, basically I looking to visit LA, Santa Barbara & San Francisco, I'm just starting out how to plan the trip so any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks

Rent a car at Tucson airport, drive to Tombstone. Go to ok Corral & get tickets for gunfight. Eat lunch st Bug Nose Kate’s. I would then drive to LA & up coast to Santa Barbara,, the pacific coast highway & San Francisco. If you have time, drive north from Tucson to Phoenix & on to see the Grand Canyon, before then going on to LA. The Grand Canyon, one of the original Wonders of the World is arguably America’s top site to see.

Is Allen Street "stroller friendly"? Wondering if I should be prepared to wear/hold my baby the whole time there.

Yes... Allen Street is stroller friendly. A stroller certainly can be rolled on the wooden boardwalks. And Allen Street itself is stroller friendly.

We will be in Tombstone for one night during Wyatt Earp Days on our way to Grand Canyon. It is my thought that we will check into the campground then take a stroll on Allen St. During the Wyatt Earp Days, what time do things typically wrap up?

the last show of the day for many of show is 2-3:30 pm. The shops start closing at 5:00 pm. There's nothing open after 6 pm except for the food/drinking establishments.
