Entrance is 6 rmb various buildings, often with beautiful old details. If you have time, it is interesting to see the temple. During my visit there was a ceremony, many reciting monks and their rituals. Near the temple are several shops and restaurants.

Absolutely worth the visit. Went on a sunny day, wandered around the temple, and outside there were many shops selling various Buddhist objects. Would recommend.

Packed with turtles, this Taoist temple is located right in the center of the Spring city, Quite a nice walk, positive athmospher.

very pleasant walk inside the temple, hearing monks chanting. there are very nice stone carving as well! Buddhist temple related to Manchushree/Guanyin.

the temple is nice and interesting, but once one is fed up of temples, this one is not 'not to be missed'.

We enjoyed the walk in the temple. It's 1200years old but is very well maintained and clean. It's quite a big premise but some halls cannot enter. One can do donation with receipt. Entrance fee is rmb6 and you'll be given a pair of candles and a set of 3 joss sticks. We saw nice flowering trees when we were there.

Beautiful temple, a few hundred meters form Emerald Lake Park in Kunming, well worth a visit. These two attractions are easy to combine.

This lovely temple is a surprise. Step off the main road and into cloistered and carefully manicured world of devotion. The gentle arch of the roofs of temple buildings, the lovely lake and the sense of calm pervades everything. This is a place to be, to reflect and to enjoy...it worth every cent of the 6 RMB entry fee...be at peace.

This temple is an old one as evident by the structures surrounding it but the craftmanship of the roof beams and the temples are genuine and authentic. Inside the walls of the temple, it is solemn. The entrance fee is 6 rmb and we used the Deedee to get there. I think the 6 rmb is for the 2 candles and incense handed to us before entering the place. There were people singing and praying inside the temples. Worth a visit. We went to Cui Hu after visiting this place.

It is a very old temple. I went there over 15 years ago when I bought a tiny "monk-blessed" Buddha piece and put into my wallet ever since, believing it could keep me safe. Maybe it did as I survived the 2004 tsunami and several other unexpected life-threatening events during my numerous trips.This time, I departed from the tour group for a couple of hours to get there myself by taxi. Could not remember anything from the past as it was a long time ago. They do not sell Buddha pieces anymore and the temple looks a bit run-down. Not many visitors except some young ladies and SE Asian tourists. To me it was nostalgia and I just sat there for an hour to meditate. The entrance guy looked at my camera and did not charge me any entrance fee ie seemed not a worshiper. On the wall there were numerous thought-provoking clauses about life, written by a chief monk. I went through all and agreed with maybe 2/3. Getting back to the tour group was a bit hard; I had to wait 10 minutes to catch a taxi. I asked my tour guide why no tours would include this venue. He said that the traffic there was bad and there was no bus-parking.

The airport is about 30~60 minutes away from the city and traffic there is really unpredictable and can really bad if you're caught. I think if you would still like to leave the airport to take a breather, go to Green Lake (翠湖). When returning to the airport, try to avoid the evening peak hour. Cabs usually charge by meter when leaving the airport but charge between RMB120-150 from city to airport.
