Unusual place worth visiting if you saw everything else
Apr 2021
Well, I wouldn't call this a prime attraction of Kazan, as this historic city has much more authentic sites to offer, but if you're done with them all I strongly suggest visiting it.
Beware it's pretty far, in the far western suburbs of Tatarstan capital. You can reach it by bus, but don't bother - use taxi (make sure you have the Yandex app installed), as it's so cheap (around 3-4 $) and much faster (20 min ride).
The Temple is very unusual. I cannot remember seeing such anywhere else - therefore I'm glad I've visited it. It's on the very edge of kitsch, yet interesting.
Under one roof, you'll see all religions - Islam, Orthodox, Judaism, Hindu, Buddhist, old Egyptian,...etc. Each Temple is decorated authentically and they're all interconnected. Have in mind it is still under construction, and while wandering the interiors you'll encounter several live workshops where enthusiastic artists are working on new decorations.
This Temple was an idea of a famous Tatarstan artist Mr. Khanov, whose works of art (paintings, sculptures and monuments he made all over Tatarstan) can be seen throughout the Temple, as well the prizes he won.
The Temple also symbolizes Tatarstan tolerance to all people living in it.
Entry fee is symbolic (couple of bucks) and you'll need some 2-3 hours for visiting and return ride.

굳이 시간내어 갈 필요는 없다. Only for extra curiosity.
Des 2019
Quite small space and also not much to explore, compare to time to get here from main street(a hour all over) not really worthy.
Didn’t even took a photo.

Not worth the trouble

The church is reachable with a cab in 20 minutes time (around 150 ruble). Though I would not recommend going, the outside looks nice but the inside is just a disappointment for 100 rubles. Better to spend your time and energy on one of the many museums, churches and mosques inside the city center!

A chaotic but wonderful place
Sep 2019
I love the idea of the Temple of All Religions and I was amazed at the place itself. The brothers who have worked on its construction are geniuses (only one is still alive and I was privileged to meet him) - incredible visionaries and artists. The inside is chaotic and constantly under construction, but I felt such optimistic energy there. I hope this place influences and inspires others to believe that people of all religions can live together in peace.

This temple, located just 10 minutes from the city center, has an interesting beginning. Started in 1992, it was designed to provide "culture and truth", acting as residence for the builder (before his passing, now continued by his brother) and others who assist in building the facility. It is NOT an active religious facility.

The building itself does not sit well with the local residence of the area, who believe it goes against their orthodox beliefs. Regardless, it has become a tourist attraction and continues to evolve as money and time permits.

It is out of town, you have to take a train or bus.The train goes from Kazan 1 and takes 15 minutes.I arrived and was so disaplointed. It looks quite ok from outside, but the inside is just full of trash. If you like art, you might enjoy it.It is more like a craft place for local artists. But you wont find the reason you came there for.The inclusion of religion, explanation and worth seeing exhibits. It is a pity because it's definitely a nice concept.

Interesting agglomeration of designs to incorporate symbols of many faiths. Take a look, but no need to linger.

Colorful meaning

As intended to reflect the peacefully coexistence of several religions, the construction is a series of different religious temples put altogether in just one complex. It looks nice, but it seems there is work to do to finish the complex, inside and outside, yet what they’ve already done is impressive. The access is worth of R$100. They already got many articles of the different religions, but it seemed to me that they still have to put these things properly in the corresponding rooms, but I am far from being an expert in religions, and perhaps I might have missed something. I did not see English signs or labels explaining what was exhibited; it could help foreigners to understand things better. It was easy to get here using public transport: bus lines 2 and 46 stop almost in front of the temple, and I used line 2 to go back downtown.

On Going Temple

The Temple is very interesting and worth the visit. It is on going construction and some places are fragil so be careful. The place keeps growing and when done will be a big temple.
