This is a small museum in a lovely old home near the train station. The floors and interior are beautiful, smooth wood. On display are local crafts mainly pottery and furniture. The furniture is gorgeous and comfortable. It’s a half-hour visit or so at a small price. If you are nearby do stop in. There are slippers at the entry for your comfort.

The building housing this museum was, apparently, once the home/offices of a local physician. It was a great example of early 20th century architecture, and was an excellent backdrop for this delightful displace of the folk art/crafts of Tottori. Although there was very little information available in English, it was not difficult to figure out what one was looking at.
