The mosque is so beautiful at night, when it's dark and the mosque itself in white, all tourists taking photos and so did we.

A beautiful modern mosque built to a traditional style with pleasant gardens and tall iron fencing.
We've tried to visit here on previous occasions. However, the Mosque's rules require women to wear a headcovering obtained from the guard on the entrance, Regretaby on out 3 visits, no guard was present so we didn't enter the temple.

Is the biggest mosque in Aqaba, and is very beautiful, and nice. The Sharif Hussein bin Ali Mosque is a stunning white religious structure named after one of the key figures of the Arab Revolt.
Mosque requires visitors to dress formally. Women must cover their heads and bodies with robes, which can be borrowed from the mosque. The site is open to the public, but not during prayer times

Flowering bougainvilleas provide an idyllic surrounding to this mosque. Beautiful under the night lights. Well worth a brief visit.

Very nice mosque. Extremely clean. Women visitors are aloud to enter from a different door. The decoration inside the mosque is very nice and the carpets too.

A Beautiful Mosque

A stop in Aqaba whilst on our recent cruise gave us an opportunity to admire the Sharif Hussein bin Ali Mosque. Although we did not go inside, the exterior is stunning.

A must-see religious place in Aqaba

Calm and spacious. Local people really tolerant and welcoming with tourists who want to take a look inside the mosque. Covering the head is obligatory for women to enter as well as taking off shoes for everyone.
