A few miles south of Bajawa you can visit interesting village namely Bela village. This is a traditional Ngada village. A small place where people still live according to the old traditions. There are 2 parts, the first part with some traditional houses with high thatched roofs, but also with corrugated steel sheets. The other part with traditional houses with high thatched roofs and a central square with animistic shrines (Ngadhu and Bhaga) and megalithic stone structures used for religious purposes.
Bena traditional village is one of the most visited traditional villages.
But go also to Bela, because this is less touristy
