We took up the Mt. Bromo non sunrise day tour pickup from our Surabaya Hotel. This tour is good for family with elderly and kid who don't want to wake up at midnight hour and squeeze with the crowd. The driver arrived on time 7am together with tour guide meet us at Hotel lobby and explain to us clearly about the intinerary. The road to Mt Bromo is very narrow and winding, you need an experience local driver! Then the jeep driver will drive you through the Sea of Sand! Overall, it is a pleasant experience with Bromo Tour agent's arrangement. It keep our family safe and fun journey!

Well organised and great guide but weather in December is unpredictable and it rained a lot on the day. Nevertheless we had a great trip despite not seeing the picturesque view!

Bromo Tours is very prompt in answering my many queries on the tour. The price is reasonable and was willing to reduce to my asking price for an amended itinerary.
Driver Putra is skillful and careful in his driving.
Mt Bromo local guide Ismubanu is very experienced and let us take our time to walk at comfortable pace in touring Mt Bromo
Tumpaksewu local guide Melvin is helpful in taking good photos of my family at the waterfall.
Bromo Tours is a very good local tour operator.
Driver Putra is skillful and careful in his driving.
Mt Bromo local guide Ismubanu is very experienced and let us take our time to walk at comfortable pace in touring Mt Bromo

Since the first message they showed us that they were very helpful, kind and professional. They immediately answered our WhatsApp and in a few minutes they confirmed the tour for the day after without the need of a deposit payment. The driver was extremely punctual, nice and kind, helping us in whatever we needed. The hike to the caldera was tough but the scenery repays every sacrifice. I recommend Bromo Tour agency because you can feel the love they put into their work and they have a really professional, nice and honest staff.

We had limited time in Indonesia and were looking for a tour that would include both Bromo and Ijen and found this company!
We were picked up from Surabaya airport and transported to hotel accommodation in Bromo first (~3hr drive), where we got a few hours of sleep and then set off on the sunrise hike. Afterwards, we came back for breakfast and a hot shower and got transported to Ijen (~6hr drive) for another few hours of sleep before setting off on this hike and finishing at our hotel with another excellent breakfast! We had already discussed previously to be dropped off in Ubud for the final days of our vacation and this was promptly arranged (~30min to harbour, then ~45min on ferry and about ~5hr drive to Ubud).
From pick-up at the airport to drop-off at our hotel in Ubud we were in the very capable hands of Mr Roni and his team and did not have to think of anything. The itinerary was discussed and finalized through WhatsApp prior to our trip and we received a printed version at the start as well to refer to - everything was very punctual! Price of the tour was slightly on the expensive side compared to others but included a lot! Payment was done online through wise.com
On the several drives our chauffeur made sure to stop at a few local restaurants for delicious lunches and always had plenty of bottles of cold water for us. The car was very comfortable and airconditioned.
Highly recommend this tour if you’d like to see as much as possible in little time!
My only caveat would be to discuss how much cash to bring beforehand for entry fees to the parks etc as we had not reckoned on this before.

Ronnie (‪+62 851‑0833‑3533‬) was such a terrible guide. He changed the schedule to his advantage several times without being transparent.
Then, with absolute no reason, he suddenly stopped the tour and started threatening us for getting cash before we agreed. The driver did not speak English and we did not manage to give him the money since Ronnie insisted for the driver to bring us to police.
When we arrive, the driver told the police we did not want to pay for the tour and my boyfriend kicked his car (false). Never seen such miscommunication. We went to ATM with him and handled him the money, still we had to lose a day at the police station. Police said this happens very often, so be careful!

With Ronnie we had a TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE and we were SCAM! We had to involve the POLICE
They kept on changing the plans agreed forcing us to sleep 1-2 hours on the first night because they booked a very far hotel from Bromo Mount (not the one they told us before) and we had to stay in the car for many hours. But the worst happened after few hours! They took us to the POLICE saying that we didn’t want to pay and asked for the money WITHOUT doing the tour. They told the police crazy stories to get the money all cash from us without doing anything and we had to pay in front of the police. Then they left us in the middle of nowhere and we had to find a way to come back to the city. AVOID JAVACANCES, this is a total SCAM!

We took the Bromo midnight tour from Surabaya and we are very satisfied!!
- The price is cheaper than other tours and already including buffet-style breakfast and toll fees.
- The tour manager, Ronney is really friendly and professional.
- Our driver is nice and reliable. Everything is on time.
- Our guide in Bromo, Ruswandi was amazing and friendly, he showed us all the secluded photo spots and told us stories about the people of Tengger. He also took really nice pictures.
- We stopped by Madakaripura waterfall without any extra charge, and the driver helped us to negotiate the price with local guides.
I really recommend going to Bromo with this tour, we will remember this trip forever.

It was an amazing experience to see the sunrise and then the crater of Bromo! The team was really nice, since the pick up at the airport (thanks, Ronney!), the drivers and the guide. The hotel is simple, but with the astonishing view of Bromo: I enjoyed the sunset there too! Trimakasiiiiii!
