Jadi kami pergi ke tempat ini beberapa tahun yang lalu dan ingin datang lagi ketika kami kembali ke Bali untuk liburan. Seperti posting lain katakan, panas di dalamnya. Ini Bali, tidak banyak yang bisa dilakukan tentang itu. Ya ada anjing. Kami suka anjing dan tidak keberatan sama sekali, benar-benar menyukainya. Harga tinggi dibandingkan dengan sebagian besar tempat di kota. Satu-satunya keluhan saya adalah mereka mencoba menagih kami untuk "ganda" yang tidak kami pesan. Untuk dua tembakan bola api dan 4 vodka soda tagihan kami adalah 820, 000 idr. Para bartender sangat ramah dan memastikan kami hanya membayar untuk apa yang kami pesan. Saya akan mengatakan menantang memeriksa tempat ini tetapi memperhatikan tagihan Anda dan pastikan Anda berkomunikasi persis apa yang Anda inginkan.

Thanks for taking the time to write us a review. At first glance our prices do seem high. That's because we don't hit you in the end with unforeseen tax and service. Our prices already include the mandatory tax. In regard to your bill, I wish you had brought it to my attention. Even if you bought our best Vodka, your bill would not have legitimately been that much. I too recommend, no matter where you are, to closely check your bill. Cheers Greg

Datang ke sini untuk menonton pertandingan, tetapi setelah pemilik (tidak ramah) pergi dan TV menyala kami tidak bisa menonton akhir pertandingan karena staf tidak diperbolehkan menyentuh remote control dan mereka jelas takut padanya. Juga anjing berkelahi di dapur dan semut berlarian di bar.

Couldn't help but notice that this is already your 3rd review. Congratulations, wow, what a seasoned traveler / reviewer you've become. How interesting that so far you've two 1 star reviews and one 5 star review. The 5 star review being reserved for the indisputable "Best Hostel In Town". Hard to argue with that. Apparently you go all out while traveling and likely have a pretty hefty allowance from Dad to support such habits, more power to ya!
"Worst Sports Bar Ever"? isn't that a bit like dining in a restaurant with one Italian dish on the menu, then publicly slamming them as being the worst Italian restaurant ever? (something that they never claimed to be in the first place) Why would you think that we are a Sports Bar? All of our signage clearly states that we are a Saloon, the Melting Pot Saloon.
Such a nice young couple you seemed to be. You came to inquire about a football game that no one else in town was interested in seeing, or showing. I told you up front exactly what the situation was in regard to its availability, It would have to be a stream, I explained that it was simply not available via satellite in Indonesia. You were quite polite and seemingly understanding I explained also that the absolute best way for you to see your game was via a subscribed streaming package, a package that I don't have. You then told me that you had that package, or actually your father had that package but you didn't think that it would be okay to use it. So, responding to your choice I queued up your game for you, again issuing a disclaimer that it may, or may not work,. You shrugged it off and said that ultimately you could watch it without a problem on your phone (if need be) but would simply prefer to see it on a larger screen if possible. Understood. Your game began at 1130 pm and I got it rolling for you, all seemed to be going very well, you were still very happy/thankful little campers at that point in time. I had been here since 7 am that morning and was ready to head home, it was 1230 am then. Prior to leaving, I again met with you and warned you that from then on out, you were on your own. I explained that if the stream was lost, we could not attempt to revive it. The system we now use was very new at that time and no one else knew how it worked. Furthermore, after a 17 & 1/2 hour day, I was going home. All was well, no worries, you were still quite happy and thankful. Little did I know or even begin to suspect that you would throw your toys when your game crapped out about a half an hour later. I know you didn't miss any of the game because you had already assured me that you could quite simply watch it on your phone. I suspect that what irked you most was that your precious team actually failed to win that game. My deepest condolences to your and your's.
Yes dogs do come and go here, that didn't seem to bother you all while watching your game. Dogs freely roam the streets of Ubud, that's just the way it is here. Ya, we've become attached to some and keep food and water for them (in the kitchen) as they pass through. Being one of only very few places open at that time of the night, where else were they supposed to have gone? By the way we actually prepare our food on sanitary stainless steel surfaces that are well above the floor level that the dogs remain. You've claimed that there were ants on the bar. Huh, ya... that could very well have been. There were also likely geckos on the ceiling, big deal, welcome to the tropics. Our bar is about 100 ft. long, if you see an ant and it bothers you, one available option would be to simply move, smash it with a napkin, or simply say something, you know face to face. We've also been blamed for a street dog supposedly having destroyed your bag. If your bag was made of woven bacon, i might believe that, if not... hard to fathom. In the kitchen there are community dog bowls of water and food. Rib bones are typically of particular interest to them. However, these dogs aren't even interested in dog food, just the fat from the nicer cuts of meat, bones etc.
So, what do you actually know of our food??? In that you've made a blanket proclamation that our food is bad, is one to assume that you've tried everything on the menu? If so, they would be wrong. In fact, on your bill, I see only one food item, the onion rings. It may surprise you to know that we don't actually make our own onion rings. We simply buy them and fry them when ordered. While here you had no complaint whatsoever about our onion rings. Given our minor role of simply having to fry them, I seriously doubt that my kitchen staff managed to screw them up. In fact we've never had a complaint about our onion rings in our 11 years of operation. The empty plate that was returned indicates that someone ate all 10 of them. Get a grip, your fiction ain't flying here!

Datang ke sini untuk final RWC - Rekomendasikan jika Anda mencari bar olahraga dengan campuran layar / proyektor / tabel biliar dengan suasana yang baik, Anda akan kesulitan untuk menemukan tempat lain yang menunjukkan olahraga secara lokal. Atau juga merekomendasikan jika Anda ingin melarikan diri dari serangan mangkuk smoothie Ubud dan membutuhkan pengingat rumah / AS
Hasil yang disayangkan tetapi tidak banyak yang bisa dilakukan oleh melting pot. . .

Well, thanks so much for not blaming us for the outcome of the Rugby World Cup Final, that's great to hear. Strangely enough, it has, in the past seriously overshadowed one's experiences while here. Ya'll were troopers though. I was amazed that so many of the English fans stuck around and continued to have a good time. Maybe it was the upcoming Premier League? Thanks much for taking the time to write us a review, look me up next time you're in town. I'm typically the one at the very end of the bar having a great time, but I hide it well! Cheers Greg

Bar ini sangat panas. Saya belum begitu panas berdiri di bawah sinar matahari langsung ketika saya berada di bar ini.
Kami tidak punya alternatif untuk menonton Piala Dunia rugby daripada datang ke sini jadi itu yang menarik.
Kami harus membayar entri 100 k per orang (voucher untuk dihabiskan di bar untuk nilai ini) untuk pertandingan Eng NZ tetapi tidak ada biaya masuk untuk pertandingan Wales dan SA - layanan sangat lambat pada waktu pertandingan yang sibuk.
Layar dan pertunjukan olahraga adalah keuntungan, tetapi sedikit yang bisa ditawarkan.
Makanan mahal dan bagian-bagian yang tidak tercermin oleh harga tetapi tetap lezat.
Seorang pria lokal yang ramah dan ramah yang mengunjungi bar setiap hari sangat menyenangkan untuk bertemu dan belajar tentang anjing-anjing di bar yang merupakan tambahan yang menyenangkan!

I have to agree it was very hot that day. However, this should come as no surprise. We are situated a mere 8 degrees south of the equator and this is the hottest time of the year in Bali. Did it occur to you upon entering our wide open front that we may not be air conditioned? Actually, if the heat was really getting to you, you could've opted for a seat in the VIP Box, it's air conditioned in there. In regard to standing in direct sunlight while inside, no offense but its a bit like complaining about being wet while standing in the rain. This place is over 120 feet deep and the roof is complete. So, there are very few places that one can be in direct sunlight while within our walls. The game was being shown on 7 different screens (in 7 different places) throughout the 120 feet of depth.
If we already seem a "little expensive" to you, can you imagine how much the prices would have to go up after investing in, and sustaining an air conditioning system for our 5000 square feet of space with 18 foot tall ceilings? We have ten ceiling and oscillating fans that normally take the edge off the heat quite well. However, on the day of England Vs New Zealand, 250 rugby fans showed up. Do you realize that people give off heat, body heat... to the tune of about 640 BTUs per person times 250 equals 1600,00 BTUs. I assume that you're familiar with BTUs, after all, they're British. The point is, on top of all of the natural heat, essentially you, me, and everyone in attendance were contributing to the human furnace that came to be. I also have to agree that service was quite slow that day. Every one of our employees were working hard, but we were only expecting about 150, not 250 people out for the game. The very next weekend, for the Rugby World Cup Final 350 came, it was much cooler (overcast) and service was much faster. We had a good look at what we could do to better serve our customers and made the appropriate improvements. Happy to hear that you weren't upset by the dogs, they're all alright if you get to know them, but periodically customers are put off by them. Thanks for taking the time to write us a review. Kami datang ke sini beberapa kali tahun lalu dan tahun ini lagi. MENCINTAI tempat ini! Ini memiliki banyak meja biliar, tenis meja, musik 80-an yang hebat, ramah gadis di belakang bar. Sangat merekomendasikan tempat ini jika Anda ingin bermain biliar atau minum bir.

Saya pergi ke Melting Pot beberapa kali setiap minggu, karena itu adalah salah satu tempat favorit saya di seluruh Bali. Saya suka meja biliar berkualitas tinggi, semua layar lebar dan berbagai acara olahraga, berbagai macam kerajinan bir dan minuman, ditambah fakta bahwa mereka menawarkan karaoke, meja biliar "penantang", snooker, mesin arcade, ping pong, foosball dan makanan yang layak.
Stafnya hebat dan pemiliknya sebagian besar ada di tempat dan tersedia dan menghabiskan banyak waktu untuk memastikan semua acara olahraga yang tepat muncul di semua layar lebar. Ini adalah tempat yang sangat luas, jadi mungkin untuk datang dengan kelompok kecil dan besar. Sangat direkomendasikan!

I'm glad that you found us to be a "decent place to watch the football". In regard to showing sports just like anything here, we strive to do the very best we possibly can, and continue upgrading our equipment and systems in place in constant search of perfection. .Funny that you should describe our staff as "super friendly" while other Tripadvisor reviewers have recently stated that they are quite rude. Who to believe? It's all relative ya? In regard to me being "less than a cheery chap", I'll go along with that. You won't see me donning the stereotypical proprietors plastic smile that's for sure. it seems that few stop to realize that when I'm here (which is much more often than not) at this place of play for so many, I'm at work . I have a lot of concerns, things to tend to, as well as things to do. The larger we've become, the more space, staff, customers and concerns I have to address.
l. find it amusing that you've referred to my staff as being "super apprehensive" of me, I'll think of that the next time they are shooting rubber bands at me. Or, the next time I'm in the restroom and one of them pranks me by turning the light off. Maybe I could remind them then that they're supposed to be afraid of me. Of course I've made it sound a bit too much as though I'm the innocent one in all of the pranks that take place around here and that qualifies as a bit misleading. I'll confess now to having introduced them to electrifying pens and lighters, enough said. Good luck in your quest to find a "cheery chap". There is a place here in town by the name of Happy Chappy. Its a Chinese restaurant. I've been there several times and have yet to see a happy, or cheery chap. So, don't waste your time looking there. Regards Greg

Dua pertandingan terakhir yang saya tonton, menguji pertandingan rugby, koneksi wi fi telah menjadi masalah besar. Bisakah Anda bayangkan menonton rugby langsung dan terus berhenti! ! Terkadang selama 5 atau 10 menit. Saya tidak yakin mengapa. Koneksi 2019 dan wi fi di Ubud sangat bagus. Saya streaming rugby secara teratur dan tidak pernah masalah, jadi kecuali ini diperbaiki, mungkin membayar rencana bulanan yang lebih tinggi, pemilik? ? Maka menjauhlah. Piala Dunia bulan depan. Saya mencari tempat lain. Ini tidak dapat diterima untuk bilah olahraga yang disebut.
Ini memalukan karena stafnya ramah, kerumunan yang baik hanya manajemen yang buruk.

For many years now, we've had the rugby union via satellite. One day, very recently, it simply disappeared and we've been scrambling a bit since to figure out where to from here. We currently pay (quite dearly) for a 50 MPS fiber optic internet service from the best provider in the country. From what all the experts tell me, this should be much more than enough for what we do. There's a good chance that if you stream flawlessly at home, the fact that there are not 50 guests or so in your home at the same time also on the internet plays a major role in your success. I am no expert but I have already hired, and consulted with several "experts" to ameliorate the internet situation here at the Melting Pot Saloon on busy sports related days. Notice from our name that we don't claim to be a Sports Bar. We are many different things to many different people, enough said. We strive to do the very best we can in every aspect of our business. I assure you that I have been meeting regularly with our internet provider's techies to troubleshoot why it is that we sometimes have problems. Believe me, during those moments, of down time seconds seem like hours to me, its quite stressful to say the least. There is supposed to be a firewall that reserves the lion's share of bandwidth for the streaming that I do. The most recent experts theorize that the new router is not working correctly and with so many customers in house using the wi-fi, streaming becomes more difficult that it should be. They're coming tomorrow to sell me some more goodies that are sure to solve the issue. Fingers are crossed. In regard to the upcoming rugby world cup, all indications are that streaming won't be necessary. We should be getting that via satellite, Hallelujah for that! Greg

Jika Anda setelah menonton olahraga dan bermain biliar, tidak perlu mencari lagi. Bintik besar, semua meja berada dalam kondisi bagus dan hampir semua olahraga yang ingin Anda tonton! Bir juga tidak terlalu buruk ??
