Went on a trip on the 7th November doing buggy & quads trip was ok been on better groups was to big . My problem is there thieves didn’t have enough money on us to pay for the pictures so asked if we could pay by card , £20 for the pictures also got 3 fridge magnets out of gift shop should be £10 with not having internet there I had to wait till I got back to the hotel to check my bank only for then to have took £31 for the pictures & £21 for the fridge magnets . I got in contact with the tour rep who I booked it with who told me he would get it sorted but as yet to & I go home today . I’m now out of pocket of £22 my advise is stay away or if you go take English money. I’m fuming will never book with them again or with the tour rep

Really fun experience. It starts woth long rode in the suv through the desert. After that visit to the bedouin village and riding camels. Then driving quads & buggys and at the end we had a traditional egyptian meal.

Everything here is money orientated, and the timing mentioned is not it should be eg you are given certain period of activities but half the time is wasted

We booked a private quad tour at our office in Sunrise Holidays Resort. Pickup was on time, 12 persons in a hot car, made for 8 persons.
Driver stopped twice and left us in the car without airconditioning. Tourguide on the quads was great!
After the tour we had to wait 1 hour!!! For the driver back to the hotel, again with 12 persons.
Complained at the sales persons back in the hotel, would get back to us, but until today he ignores us completely.
Tour highly recommanded, transfer and sales person from VIP Class Safari is a disaster!

Amazing experience! Pick up from hotel was straightforward no hiccups. Our highlight was the safari car ride an fire show. Only downside was the buggy cars...it was too hot be out riding for 45 mins. I had to unfortunately stop after about 15mins so bear that in mind if you go in the hotter months. Perhaps they should reconsider activities depending on the time of day and season as well.

We booked this excursion via Tui and overall it was it a great day out, with varied activities inc quad bikes, moon buggies, crossing the desert on 4x4 jeep, and some cultural experience whilst riding camels and meeting a local woman who demonstrated their bread making. It was a well organised trip and they try hard to please everyone, great value for money with the dinner and some drinks included.
My only feedback was the quad biking was very frustrating. Firstly, being split into groups of men and women and only being able to ride in a long line one behind the other means you are only being able to go as fast as the person in front, led by a guide at the front. Secondly, the men were going at a much faster pace and my husbands experience of the quad biking was going full throttle on the excelerator so he loved it, whilst my experience was crawling along with only short bursts of exceleration. They really need to understand that most western women who opt to do quad biking want to be treated equally and do not appreciate being separated off to do what we would consider a kiddies version of this activity in the UK. (Btw under 16's are not allowed to participate in this activity but they are driven alongside in the jeeps which they also loved). Generally, in many ways its still two very different worlds for men and women in Egypt.

Despite having travelled to Egypt many times I have always shunned this trip. However, this holiday my 16 year old son really wanted to go on it so we booked via Tui.
We were collected from the hotel by our designated driver for the day, Ali Baba (genuinely his name). He made the trip!!! He was entertaining, helpful, friendly, hilarious and all round delightful. He drove like a lunatic but in a good way. When we crossed the desert he made sure we had so much fun. It was like being in a mega roller coaster.
We also drove spider cars (like dune buggies). We then did quad biking. We visited a Bedouin camp and learned how Bedouin people live in the desert. Lastly we had a ride on a camel.
We then returned to the main centre and had a dinner which was really good food and a show of dancing.
Everyone in our group loved the trip! Will be going again if/when we are next in Egypt!

Booked via TUI. First thing to say is that the guide was brilliant. Genuinely Bedouin origin and passionate about the place and culture. However…. Quad bike experience was too short, a bit dull and slow and the bikes had seen better days. Camel ride was about one hundred yards, turn round and come back. Sand buggies was only 20 minutes and they are in terrible condition - seatbelts didn’t work on ours and another buggy in the party had a rear wheel come off. The transport was in a LWB Landcruiser with bench seats and with 8 crammed in it is uncomfortable. Using these for desert off-roading is really uncomfortable and the drivers just drive recklessly across the desert and have no real 4WD capability. Too much time taken staging photos that they want to sell you and too much time waiting about. This could be a great day out if it was just executed a bit better. I felt a bit embarrassed for the guide as everything under him let him down.

Wow.. what an experience on the quad bikes and camels. Driving for 25 km and then stopping off in the desert to see the Bedwin tribe’s way of life. There is SO much emphasis on safety, but it doesn’t ruin the day. Well done to all the staff.. I loved it

Everything was excellent...the sand boarding, ATV quad, enough time to post for pictures, camel ride and the meeting with Bedouins was amazing. The trip was great, I would recommend it to everyone. One experience that I will remember. And big thanks to our guide.

We went to Hurghada for another family vacation this June and felt absolutely safe. Were walking in the streets after sunset almost every day too (going to Senzo Mall).
