Usually stay at the Borgata but my Wife wanted to try the Hard Rock. It was BY FAR the worst experience we have ever had in Atlantic City. The Casino was filled with shady characters that made us all feel extremely unsafe playing there. There were groups of Men trying to intimidate me while I was trying to have a good time playing at the craps table and my Wife said she had a similar incident at another table and in both cases the dealers and employees did nothing. The room we stayed in was shabby as well, broken bathroom door and Black mold on the shower walls. The only good part was our Dinner at il Mulino was excellent. But we drove back to NYC feeling horrible and shaken up thinking about if we would have been robbed in the casino.

HRC - Hard Rock Casinos are run in a disjointed or loosely coupled corporate structure. The name is used across many properties, but the rules, culture and gaming is not consistent, unlike MGM and Caesars properties. If you are a high-level player seek another casino, because if you start winning, you will be banned from the game. Absolutely ridiculous!!! Only casino in Atlantic City afraid of a winning player, though I understand Golden Nugget has recently hired the casino manager afraid of such action. HRC AC has great potential, but until they understand all players sometimes win, they will retain high-value players. Live music and restaurants are welcoming and enjoyable. Gaming tables need to be cleared of debris and trash left by players. I've never seen another casino that leaves player trash for such a long period of time. HRC AC is in a great location and the property is immense, very good potential destination for lower-level players. Slots are tight, but variety is excellent. **Warning: Do not win at tables, or you will be banned ... apparently forever But all well-run casinos will welcome your play, even HRC casinos in other locations.
