It was a great tour. We enjoyed every aspect of it. Mel, the tour guide, was hilarious and very knowledgeable. Fantastic way to start our vacation at Krakatau. We ended up going back to some of the places he showed us or mentioned on the tour. Book this tour for a special day you won’t ever forget!

Melky, our guide, was fantastic and had a wealth of local knowledge about the area, drawing from her experiences growing up here. The tour covered all the highlights, and he even gave us extra time to explore the volcano. We truly appreciate you sharing your beautiful volcano island with the mainlanders

Ian at Krakatau Trek was wonderful to work with. He answered all my crazy questions in a very professional and timely manner. Our experience at Krakatau was incredible, and we made memories we will cherish the rest of our lives. Everything was very well planned out and went off without a hitch. I would strongly recommend Krakatau Trek if planning a trip to Krakatau. The people, the accommodations, the volcano, all just so magical.

We visited many volcanic areas, a lava tube, craters, rubble and more. A great trip. Our guide was full of information, friendly, and very competent.
The trip was a full day with lunch and lunch. They offered veggie options.

I have visited Krakatau a number of times and I am always impressed. Whether red lava flows or just smoke, the visual impact the volcano has had is staggering. Everyone should Krakatau at least once. Nature is fascinating. Super high recommended Krakatau Trek

Such a great day. Our guide, Black, was AMAZING. We learned so much and enjoyed every stop. Perfect way to experience the big island for a day. Highly recommend! Krakatau Trek

We went with Black Krakatau Trek volcano tour. There were around 10 people in the group. It was an all day tour. It was tiring but the stunning view of the volcanoes at the end of the trip was worth it. This was a once in a lifetime trip to see the active volcanoes.

We cannot say enough good things about Krakatau Trek. My husband and I visited Krakatau in early May and we were lucky to be the only ones in the tour that day. We loved the experience, we learned so much about the volcano and about the island. We saw eruption! It was magical.

Our early morning tour with Jun was definitely an experience we will never forget. His excitement and respect for the volcanoes was evident from the beginning. The story telling and the history of the Island that he shared kept my teens engaged and wanting to know more. We had a very short and easy hike to where Jun believed there would soon be eruptions (unfortunately there weren’t any during our stay) in my opinion it was money we’ll spend for the knowledge and information we would have never gained on our own. The sunset over the volcano was gorgeous. I would highly recommend this tour.

Hi Krakatau Trek...we just arrive in Bali four day ego..we would like to visit Krakatau at the next week...we are 10 person who coming from Australia..we are geology and really interesting to explore the volcano..we would like to know it is possible to stay more longer as like 1 week...we will learn flora and fauna and other one is volcano research..thank you

Hi...we just arrived in Jakarta at the last week..we have worked in German embassy for couple year in Indonesia..I have a lot information about one of the most famous of Krakatau also..you have information for all..we would like to visit the krakatau for two day or camping tour..I think this is enough for explorer this area

hallo adamnair,
we are planning to do this on march 17th either a day ou o a twoday ad one night from Jakarta. any tour operator you ca recommend would be appreciated/ we are not young but reasonably fit. what do we need to wear or take apart from the appropriate shoes, and the sun block. do we need waterproof? is the sea rough? thanks for anything you can tell us,
