Be careful with the receptionist called Putri. She offered options for couple's room and separate rooms for my friends (foreigner couple) when I made the booking them but NO INFO at all that now they charge extra for couple's room. Once my friends arrived, she only told them about the extra charge and NOT allowing them to change to separate rooms, eventhou NO INFO was given upon reservation that they charge extra for couple's room. What a dishonest way to make money! Not sure if it's actually real extra charge or they just scammed my friends coz they only gave the credit card slip and no invoice to my friends (reminder to others: ALWAYS ask them to give you detailed invoice!). Regardless, they should allow them the options to convert to individual rooms if there was no info about extra charge for couple's room. Heritage Spa should have better standard of service than this kind of money scamming trick.

I visited here when i stayed in Jakarta. My friend suggest me to there, that was good place. The skill of therapyst is very good, i like massage balinese in there. The staff are friendly and good room spa. I suggest to this place to relax and try to know about spa of indonesia.

The massage was perfect. The traditional-almost sacred ambience even adds to the relaxation feeling. You can enjoy the swimming pool and jacuzzi upon having at least 60 mins massage. The price is not cheap, but also not the most expensive in the market. It's value for money.

the lobby ambience has a traditional ancient javanese
looks. however, the entire place itself looks dated. the price of treatments are expensive but did not offer luxury experience. i was shifted to another room for facial treatment & shared with another lady. the masaage room was dated so its amenities. the javanese masaage was great thou.

I visited the spa as it was recommended by my sister & was located near my hotel (Artotel Thamrin). I wanted just a basic package of 60 minutes but ended up taking the 2 hours package with body scrub & body masker. I was not asked to make a choice for the scrub & body masker. I assumed there was only 1 type offered, but I don’t think that’s true. The cleanliness was acceptable but the facilities were old... The masseur was meticulous in ensuring every part of my body was gently massaged, but quality was really so-so especially if I compared it with another spa I went to (higher ranking in tripadvisor). I wouldn’t go to this spa again if I visit Jakarta, I could easily get 2-3 nice massage elsewhere with the same amount paid.

Taman Sari used to have the sparks and welcoming feeling the moment you arrive the facilities. The place is huge with classical and traditional decoration. However, I'm quite disappointed during my latest visit.
The massage menu has a long list of treatments. The first few pages are packages for couple, weddings and blah blah blah. I got bored and asked the receptionist that serve me for recommendations. She doesn't seem to know the product well went I asked for a recommended massage and any other options for men.
I took a 2-hour massage with body scrubs as that what catches my eyes. She then asked me whether I want ”Lulur” or Papaya for the scrub. When I asked for her opinion she says that usually, people take LULUR. I knew that LULUR will turn my skin yellowish because of the ingredient used.
Overall the experience is not as wonderful as before and I felt that the rates are expensive if compare the same services with other places.

The massage was ok and the service was excellent. When you arrived you will be welcome by the very friendly reception team and nice welcome drink. Wonderful service. We surely coming back again !

Location almost everyone recommends this Spa, conveniently located.

This Spa located in the centre of Jakarta is a gem and used by participants in beauty pageants, it really is a great place to come and be pampered. There is an extensive list of available treatments at various prices and with different rooms on offer. We selected the luxury executive room for couples, and our treatment lasted two hours. We opted for full body massages, body rubs and milk bath - which was marvellous! The final 'cream on the cake" so to speak was to relax with some lovely food, as part of the package. (I have some great pictures but as this is the first review for this location, there is no option to upload images)
