Stunning Scenery, But Some Unsafe Walkways
Agt 2021
We came here for around 3 hours, which was enough time to cover everything. This site is not easily accessible and will be a long journey for people coming in from central Beijing. It is also generally hard to navigate the attraction itself, if you are a foreigner and can’t speak Chinese. There is some really stunning scenery from the top. There are two different cable cars which can take you to the top parts of the site. The glass pathways and bridge is very unique, although it can be scary for some people. One of the glass pathways was closed which was definitely a disappointment. There is also a glass platform beside the bridge which has some nice views. You can also walk up to the glass pathways and bridge, but it is a very long walk and I highly recommend taking the cable car beside the entrance. Keep in mind that individual tickets are required for most parts of the attraction, not just one admission ticket. Individual tickets are required for both cable car rides (one way ticket - 100RMB each), both mini car rides (one way ticket - 10RMB each), glass bridge (30RMB) and admission to the site itself. For tickets bought on the mountain, only cash is accepted. There are a mixture of steel, wood and stone pathways leading up to and surrounding the glass bridge. Some of the steel and wooden pathways were in very bad shape (leaning steel walkways, missing wooden planks and completely abandoned paths) and potentially dangerous. Although this attraction isn’t developed or renovated and more authentic (which we liked), improvements are definitely needed in basic pedestrian infrastructure to actually get around the site. Overall, this is a site worth visiting if you live in Beijing or if you are close by. Otherwise, there are more special sites closer to the city center which are better.

Excellent nature and glass bridges advanture near Beijing
Agt 2019
We were 4 adults and 4 kids. You drive some 2 hours out of BJ throughout villeges and nice nature. The location is in the mountain so you first start with cable car and get to the top of the rim. Then walk along long glass bridges and sidewalks. Wondeful experience that worth every minute. Getting down is through a steep trail - not easy for everyone. It was easy for the kids but risky dangerous for old or disable people. It was a full excellent day! very recommended to see and feel the nature in China.

glass bridge near Beijing
Sep 2018 • Teman
For those who fancy experiencing glass bridge ( 玻璃栈道), if you are in Beijing it is easy to visit one at 天云山 (Tian Yunshan) inside 石林峡 ( Shi Lin Xia Gorge/Canyon ) at 平谷 ( Pinggu) in outer Beijing. The trip can be completed in one day return from Beijing. Even if not for the glass bridge, the hiking trip is rewarding with its beautiful canyon scenery. From Beijing, take the public bus 918 ( or 852 ) from Dongzhimen Transportation Hub (东直门交通枢纽)for Pinggu District ( alternatively take subway to end of line 15 at Feng bo ; getting out at exit C2 and take bus 918 from the nearest bus stop.) Get off from bus 918 at local bus stop 迎宾环岛 (ying bin huan dao) to take local bus 25 (or 26) at the same bus stop. (If you miss this; you can still alight bus 918 at either of the next 2 following stops just the same). Alight from bus 25 ( or 26) at bus stop (石林峡; Shi Lin Xia ) , walk forward and you can see the entrance to the gorge attractions. The glass bridge is just one of the several attractions inside the gorge. You can choose to walk up all the way or take cableway part of the way ( ticket are sold one way at a time ) to reach GLASS BRIDGE. You need to pay for entrance to the gorge and then pay to enter the glass bridge attraction . For returning to Beijing, reverse the travel route. ( For those who make a stay overnite, villager's home ( besides usual hotel ) are open to receive guests. They may visit nearby attactions such as a wonderful cave and/or climb a hill to a big golden buddha at the top.)

Great visit
Nov 2016 • Keluarga
I and husband visited there with relatives who live in Beijing but no experience went there, so we have no clues of what we will face. The tour began with cable ride to the top follow with the glass bottom path, ride a so high flying fox, and we found a glass bridge. It's so amazing, I love the experience except the painful downturn trekking.....and do not expect any officials speak english.
