We really had an amazing time with this guide!
In english, he gave us knowledge about the Turkish cultur, Ottoman's Empire history and Islam, in different places of the city. All of that being really adaptive to us, either for our schedule and our centers of interest. He had also great humor and a really friendly.

Gem was a amazing guide he showed us all the history places thatvwe did not know existed in istanbul
He is also a english speaking guide and if we had to do topkapi place and blue mosque on our own we would have been lost.he showed us every detail and history behind each item....definately you need a guide to do sultan and blue mosque and topkapi also he sgowed us the boat cruise history. What a knowledgeable guide thanks gem

What an amazing way to explore the historical parts of Istanbul and hear about the rich and unique history that comes with it. Cihan did a superb job in giving us so much information and detail that otherwise would’ve been very difficult to find! The day went by so fast and that goes to show how engaging and fascinating every aspect of it was. Highly recommend exploring the Old Town with him as he’s really knowledgeable and added much needed humor and perspective.

Myself , wife and 2 girls , aged 11 and 8 in July 2018 , went on a 3 day tour with Cem. The first day of travel , I did not have a single lira on me and Cem was nice enough to pick up my bills for that day. We were all calling him Papi that day - LOL
(don't worry - i refunded Cem the next day) ... but always thankful for his generosity , charm , deep knowledge and he's got such a way to make you feel comfortable.
Some of the places that were covered were Sophia Hagia , Blue Mosque , Topkapi , Basilica Cistern , Dolmabahce to name a few.
With Cem , you can see that for him being a tour guide is a labor of love...
(don't worry - i refunded Cem the next day) ... but always thankful for his generosity , charm , deep knowledge and he's got such a way to make you feel comfortable.

We were family of 5 who accidentally bumped into CEM and he offered a private tour. He was passionate and detail oriented and made the trip to the palace very interesting. His vast experience is a great help.! Anyone looking to understand history and learn about the palace in the right way should Choose CEM.

Cem is an amazing guide. We met him outside Hagia Sophia and gave us a tour inside and a tour to the Basilica Cistern. He is very nice and has all the knowledge to explain everything. He also made a video for us explaining the similarities between Islam and Christians which help us a lot to understand the culture and the different traditions. Was a very worthy tour. I highly I recommend him as a very expertise guide.
