Besides being a design studio with cute neat merchandises, Bright also moonlights as a cozy co-working space where you can work in peace while sipping on Vietnamese coffee. Occasionally there are workshops about happiness and personal branding.
Looking to improve my mental health, I attended a Happiness workshop at Bright last month. Happiness, something that is intangible is looked through the lens of science and broken down in steps that are easy to understand and feel achievable. There were examples and clear instructions on how to get there. I like that there's a strong emphasis on practicing and creating habits. You have to actually do it.
The host, Daan was friendly and engaging. He made everyone feel relaxed and more open to share their stories. He made sure to include everyone in the conversation.
He even took time to talk with you personally. We had a nice discussion afterwards.
From the way he talks, you can feel the passion and that it's not just some ploy. Daan and Bright is serious about happiness and guiding people to it.
The workshop also included a Happiness Internship book, which is a journal filled with exercises and inspiration to get you started on the Happiness Journey.
If you're working towards a more simple happy life or just want a weekend recharge with inspiration, Bright is the place to be.

We happened to found Bright like a hidden gem in the center of Saigon. Just a quick walk from the Turtle Lake, walk up 2 floors and you found a bright yellow space there. It has lots of souvenirs with everything so Vietnamese. We heard a lot of stories from the friendly Vietnamese sales assistant about how the products are made, so such an cute day for us to find Bright

Just as what Bright aims to deliver, my impression of Bright Design Studio on my first walk-in is a sense of cheerfulness. Tiny but a very friendly and welcoming space. A great shop to drop by when you're in D1! Bright offers a collective taste of modern designs from local talents and Bright's own range of fun merchandise!

It is the place where you not only could find very nice designed stuffs to brighten up your days and your friends but also have good time with the people there. I believe you would find the beauty combination of minimalism and Sài Gòn in yellow and white in the eyes of Sài Gòn lovers. Make sure you check it out when you are in Sài Gòn!

I walked in and I fell in love. The place is exactly its name, bright and airy. The place is one thing but the owner is why I highly recommend Bright, friendly and very nice. Their products are also great and reasonably priced. Overall, great experience ❤.

BRIGHT is...bright, tiny yet offers plently of sunlight and customizable design products that just cheer u up in an instant. I really love their bright yellow umbrella, which reminds me of HIMYM every time I see or think of it. HIMYM fans, u really can't miss this!

The store locates in the central of the city which is the place for everyone come to collect unique products from the local brands. The merchandises are decorated and selected delicately enough to make you feel the local spirit of Sai Gon.

A couple months ago, I came across one of Bright's magazines while I was at a coffee shop. Intrigued by the beautiful cover, I decided to pick up one of the magazines to give it a quick browse. Needless to say, the content and overall aesthetics of the magazine piqued my interests enough that I had to pay Bright a visit...
Before my visit, I had already scanned through Bright's Instagram (@bebrightvn) to see if the shop was even worth a visit. I wanted to confirm that the design and appeal of the shop matched that of their magazine. I guess you can say I'm one of those travelers that likes to know what I'm getting myself into.
To say that Bright exceeded my expectation would be an understatement. Their shop was light and yes, bright, with trendy yellow neon signs that decorated their white walls. There were also so many cute merchandises scattered across the shop. One of them was a minimal-style frame with the Vietnamese word 'hanh phuc' (happiness) written on it. I was already decided on buying a yellow Bright umbrella so I told myself I would come back to get that frame next time. (sad note: I lost my umbrella on an Uber ride so I need to visit Bright again for another one anyway)
Another thing about Bright that I can't get enough of is their bi-weekly Bright box (attached photo). Receiving the Bright box had already put me in a good mood so when I opened the box and saw all the goodies inside... I was over the moon excited. I mean, cmon, who doesn't love to receive a box full of beautiful trinkets? I really enjoyed taking my time with going through all the gifts in their box because I can tell they put alot of thought into choosing which local brand to partner up with. It makes me feel good to know that I'm not only supporting Bright but the other the local Vietnamese brand as well. :)

A truely Sai Gon in this shop with gifts and designs. Locate in an old style Sai Gon building, with a so nice staff. I feel very comfortable when shopping here.
