This is one of Thang Long Tu Tran - four temples guarding the four sides of the ancient Thang Long citadel. This is a temple with very big bronze statues. Entrance ticket price is 10.000 VND/adult

Quan Thanh Temple is right in the middle of town and is a quick but nice stop. It isn't very large, but we got some nice pictures. We spent about 20 minutes. Worth a visit.

This is a cool temple to stop into if you are in the area seeing other attractions. Fairly small and not worth going out of your way to see.

This is a 1000 year old temple on the lake side. It provides a fantastic view of the temple of Taoism and has a beautiful ambience around it.

There are four sacred temples of deities in Taoism to protect the city from evil spirits in four directions. Quan Thanh in the North, Kim Liem in the South, Bach Ma in the East and Than Linh Lang in the West. This historical Quan Thanh Temple is one of four located in Hanoi. Bach Ma Temple is in the Old Quarters and Than Linh Lang Temple is near the Old Quarters. Kim Lien Temple is in Dong Da District of Hanoi. Quan Thanh Temple displays traditional architecture with colorful, vivid and sophisticated decorative motifs. The black bronze cast statue of Saint Tran Vu in the shrine holds a snake, symbol for wealth, and a turtle, symbol for protection. Worshippers drop in to pray for luck, wealth, and happiness.

A nice temple, it's quite a busy place & nothing different here to other temples. The loos are a bit icky, very traditional so be prepared with wipes etc.

Visit at the same time as Tran Quoc Pagoda as only 5 minutes walk away. We arrived at the pagoda and it was closed for lunch so walked to this temple. Worth visiting and was good to see. There is a small entrance fee to get in.

Very peaceful temple near a busy intersection but you forget all about that as soon as you enter. There a great bronze statue right inside the temple of Tran Vu deity which is surprising.
Well worth the visit and also take the time to walk to the north alongside the lake to see the Tran quoc pagoda.

It is said that this is one of the four temples that worship the gods and goddesses who were protectors of the Citadel.

You do have to pay entrance fee when coming here but it's rather cheap.

The most impressive aspect of the temple is probably the three-way gate with many patterns and images typical of ancient architecture.

Inside, there are worship house, alters and lots of trees. It's a kind of place that you would feel peaceful.

Overall, it is a really nice ancient temple to spend some time relaxing.
