The 800+ years old wooden Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva statue is very beautiful. For non Buddhist, do stop by if you come to China town. For ardent devotees of Guan Yin or Kannon, this is one of the most revered statue of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva in Thailand.

Definitely worth a stop if you are in the area. We did a half day tour of Chinatown. What I loved was the atmosphere with locals doing various rituals which was interesting to observe. There was also some famous Thai celebrity there but not sure who it was! Not huge so you don't need long. Don't make a special trip but worth a stop if you are in Chinatown.

I liked entrance door and small details about the place, such as fortune telling sticks, or praying place where you put incense sticks to sand bowl.

After visiting the Golden Buddha, we went to this Chinese temple which is a few steps away.

It is very quiet and peaceful. The place is not crowded as this is as a place of worship.

You have to remove your shoes to get inside and you can take photos as well. Please donate to the people selling flowers as this money goes to charity or their foundation.

This place is worth visiting.

we liked this temple, is by the entry to chinatown, many people are worshiping there and putting candles and flowers, you should go in with your shoes on.

The shrine is in front of Thia Fa hospital in Chinatown. It demonstrates that people who are in need of medical care are supposed to be in need of spiritual care as well.

The shrine honors godess Kuan Yin (also spelled Guanyin) who is symbolizing compassion and health. A beautiful statue of her was imported from China in 1958 and has been in the center of the shrine ever since.

Many people (not only Chinese, but Thai as well) come to offer their respect by burning candles, bringing flowers and saying prayers. People visiting patients in the hospital as well as for instance students who need support for getting through their exams come to pray..

One of the few shrine in Phuket that do have large Kuan Yin statue. Entrance is free and worship materials provided. However donation according to your means are most welcome. A nice place near and overseeing the sea. Do come in the morning as it will be very hot in the afternoon. However the sea breeze are soothing and confirtable. Recommended!
