I left my phone on the train and realised almost immediately that I had done so which means I could give SRT the most detailed report possible with seat number, timing, train reference, exact place it was left. But all they did was take the money (aka gratitude fee) and I have heard nothing since. So I don't believe that this is a sincere service. It's just a variation on the usual theme of corruption in Thailand
