My son purchased the tickets for my birthday and we arrived as instructed about 30 minutes early. Which we did.
We followed all the instructions, and had already watched the video, but nowhere in the video did it say anything about having to wear training shoes with laces. Otherwise, I would have done so.
You weren't allowed to take your phone inside, it had to go in a locker. Oh no, you weren't allowed to take photos, because they took it, then promptly tried to sell you it for £10.00
Before we went in, the instructor tried to upsell us on a "high flight" with the instructor which was £15.00 or Extra flights, on top of what we had already paid for £10.00 each. My son had spent enough on my birthday present so we told the instructor that we weren't going to be having any extras.
My son had already paid £90.00 for our session, (£45.00 each) and for that we got 2 x 1 minute sessions each.
We both thoroughly enjoyed the experience, and it's a box ticked. Would we go again? No.
The instructor then followed us downstairs to reception to try and upsell again, offering a 70% discount if we bought return tickets today, we said, no thanks and left.
The experience was great and I would recommend it but beware, all the upselling, and only two one minutes flight each for £90.00 left a bitter taste.
There's a box down below, here on trip adviser that says, add some photos. I guess that I won't be doing that.
Oh, that has just reminded me. We got an e-mail straight afterwards, trying to "sell" us the photos.
We won't be back.

What was a one off birthday experience has turned into a weekly hobby. We as a family are absolutely hooked. Our instructor Matt is extremely passionate about making sure we have a great time in the tunnel everything else we master is a bonus. I can definitely say this is one of the most exciting things we have done together as a family and can't wait to see our progression over the next few months. Thank you 🌟

What an incredible experience. I'd love to do it more often if I could get there and it wasn't so expensive. We bought the expensive package that we downloaded all of the photos and videos. You have to hire shoes if you don't have the right ones on
So be sure to have laced trainers that can be tightened. If you wear glassed you have to pay to use a full helmet instead of using the ones they have and goggles. If you would like the instructor to take you for a spin up just be prepared to pay an extra £10 on top.
I can just say that it was incredible. Its The best thing I have done in a long time and my kids loved it also.

Have been about 5 times now and each time we enjoy it more.
Easy to find by the ski ramp that you can see from anywhere. Plenty of free parking.
Used to have a cafe but no longer, there is a Costa next door by the Ski ramp.
On arrival you get a quick briefing/reminder of the hand signals and then don your suit, earbuds, helmet and googles. Usually in groups of up to 8 with one instructor. After you fly you then appear on the video so you can watch yourself whilst the next person is having there go. There is usually an option to be flown to the top of dome with an instructor for an extra fee.
Afterwards you have photo and video purchasing options.
My one tip - take your hairbursh as however short your hair it gets very knotted.

One of my children loved the experience and the other was too afraid. The child that was afraid to have a go, I was very pleased with the instructor as he calmed her down and never pressured her, although she didn't go on my daughter was a bit frustrated for not giving it a go. Also I was charged again for an extra go for my don but have since been called and refunded due to my daughter not participating which after this I would happily return because whilst there we received great service and a friendly atmosphere.

Just wanted to say WHAT AN INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE! Our instructor was Fearn and honestly I could have not asked for better - she was amazing from start to finish. She reassured us, she gave us a good brief of what will happen and the signs we look out for but not also that - she made us feel at such ease with this activity and she always had a smile on her face! Fearn made my flying experience amazing and I would definitely be booking another - hoping to have fearn again!
Would 100% recommend! Thankyou Fearn and iFly team - you guys are incredible at what you do!

I had a voucher bought as a gift. We were warmly welcomed and all the staff we encountered were great. Especially our instructor Daniel who was very reassuring and made the experience fun. Had 2 flights and took the fly high option both times, brilliant. We were in the same session as a kid’s birthday party and the staff were great with the kids. Only downside was the coffee bar is shut so no refreshments while waiting. However we walked across to Costa and they were happy for us to bring our drinks in.

Hi Gary, we're sorry to hear you feel this way. As a rule of thumb, all flyers must arrive 45 minutes before their flight time for preparation. Our aim is to replicate the skydiving experience and offer flights that are about 1½ times longer than a tandem jump. So each flight is around 60 seconds, often a bit longer but never shorter than 50 seconds. A double flight is about 120 seconds long. Fantastic experience, Friendly, attentive and experienced staff, made me feel totally at ease and that's something given I went in terrified😊. I actually liked it too😲🤩. I even had a high fly with one of the instructors and It was awesome😁. I would definitely recommend giving this a go if your after trying something new.😁

Yes, you can watch from the Cafe area. Most of the tables surround the cafe side of the wind tunnel so you have the perfect view of the flyers :)
Hi, what is the main difference between 'Kick Start' and 'Super Saver' in terms of price, duration/number of flights etc. Can we ask to do the 'High flight' in both? Thank you.

The kick start you get two 1 minute flights and the saver is 4 minutes you can either pre pay the high flight or they ask you if you want to do the high flight when you are there. It really is worth doing we had a great time.

I have been given this experience as a birthday present to to be honest I am a little bit scared -not very good with ‘free falling’ sensations -will there be an instructor to help me or maybe fly with me in case I get a bit scared?-I really want to do it but am quite nervous

There is an instructor who will be next to at all times. Somehow they remain standing in the chamber whilst your in mid air. They will let go of you. But if you need assistance they will help u. It’s great fun.

Yes, they ask you to arrive an hour before the flight time so they can take you through a safety briefing and to put on the flying suit, helmet etc.
