Built in the XVIII century by a notable family, from which it takes its name, this building is, with the Church and the bell tower, next to which it was built, the only major reason for visiting the main square of San Quirino.
The villa is the seat of the City Council, which meets here on the second floor.
In the ground floor are located some administrative services, and the first floor, with three rooms connected together and to which you can also access via a lift, is used for small exhibitions or events (the wooden structure of the floors does not allow simultaneous access to more than 80 visitors / presents).
Recently renovated, with visitable interiors back to their former glory, in particular as it regards the wooden doors decorated and the stucco and ceilings, Villa Cattaneo presents on the southern side a small garden, surrounded by high walls in stone and accessible through a beautiful wrought iron gate.
From the garden, a stone staircase is leading to the first floor and with the garden itself is also suitable for small ceremonies (for example for wedding’s pictures ), with tables occupying the small space.
