This is one of my most favourite places!!
This place is amazing all year round. Last year a picked so many vegetables and some apples and raspberries.
I recently came to pick a basket full of strawberries 🍓
Everything here is so delicious. This such an amazing way to spend a few hours and pick your food.
I would highly recommend this for everyone and a get family experience.

La ferme de viltain, is part of a group of farms around that provide near house food directly to consumers.
You can enjoy a sunny afternoon, go there with children and let them eat strawberries while you are buying fruit vegetables and diary
There is a visit of the stable to show how milk is collected
My children enjoyed a day out in the country side with cows, chickens, flowers and black currents.

it is one of the best milk producer in france, taste the youghurt /brown cover / it is just excellent. same for "fromage blanc" . wide variety of cheese, that is sold just at the best moment of maturity. beef and vegetables can be seen top-notch of price scale, you need to have a clear look what you like here, some is a bit above the average in terms of $. overall a 5* as you get top quality. i am there at least 1x a week.

Great experience for families with kids. We went in the afternoon and it was a lot of people but enough place for everyone. A lot of strawberries, salads, spinach, flowers. Enjoyed it

Very nice farm. You can pluck your own fruits and vegetables and pay at check out. It also has a nice market with a huge selection of cheese. Had a nice time strawberry picking.

We used to go there to get some vegetable but the prices are really high. Not for a personne on a budget.
But I am sure that is good way to educate kids about domestic animals and farming.

This was the most enjoyable part of the tour for me, as we were not stuck inside like sardines. The gardens are amazingly kept and they try to keep true to Louis XVI heritage.

great market products ,particulary all dairy products are locally produced (yogurts,cheese,milk...) but also carefuly choosen product from all other france (jam,cakes,vegetables ,fruits) nice and knowledgeable people...open every day 7/7 !

Lovely way to spend a sunny sunday during the april-sep. The kids love climbing up and down the ancient stationery tractors. The apple season is mouth watering!

Great place, very enjoyable. It is particularly attractive for local people because there are good variety of colourful flowers you can pick to take home with very reasonable price. Tourists may enjoy just looking at it though.

Nous avons pris connaissance de votre message et nous vous en remercions. Nous sommes heureux que vous ayez apprécié les RANDOS DURABLES mais comprenons votre trouble face à ce petit veau malade.
Voici ce que nous pouvons vous dire à son sujet : ce petit veau était âgé d’une semaine. Le matin, le responsable des étables avait contacté le vétérinaire (installé à Gometz le Châtel) afin de lui signaler l’état inquiétant de l’animal. Il ne présentait néanmoins pas encore les symptômes que vous décrivez.
Le vétérinaire a diagnostiqué une « nécrose du cortex » et a administré les médicaments nécessaires. Malheureusement, le traitement n’a pas endigué la maladie et cette dernière a évolué de manière extrêmement foudroyante. C’est la troisième fois que cela arrive depuis que le responsable des étables travaille à Viltain (depuis 14 ans).
Nous sommes sincèrement désolés que vous ayez été confrontée à ce triste évènement. Nous sommes une ferme ouverte, et ce depuis 1970; cela implique que vos visites se fassent au rythme de notre travail et donc de la vie du troupeau. Nous sommes une ‘vraie’ ferme avec ses aléas : la vie quotidienne des animaux, les joies, les peines, les mauvaises surprises, l’impuissance parfois de l’éleveur et du vétérinaire.
Pour conclure, soyez certains que nous apportons le plus grand soin à notre troupeau, et ce chaque jour.
