Dino park nong bua lamphu
Mei 2021 • Keluarga
the park has been given a completely different appearance in a positive way. There are many moving dinosaurs in the open air and also make noise. This park is definitely worth a visit for children and also the elderly. entrance fee is 50 baht for foreigners and 20 baht for locals.

Not a big deal if you missed it

Like
- moving a roar t-rex
- information about dinosaur but the setting is not like interactive museum, it was just simple words.
- there's a path or walk way in little jungle where you can go explore the hole which the millions years old shell was found. it's really hot and not recommended to walk alone. there's nothing scary but walking in little jungle on your own is a little creepy. I saw snake once.

Dislike
- entrance fee is about 40 - 100 something, depending on child, adult, foreigners tickets which I think it's too expensive for we what see in there.
- the museum needs a lot of renovation and more interactive things to play with.
- there're 2 main (not very big) building, one displayed the shell which was not interesting according to the setting and one is about dinosaur which is a little more interesting with big T-Rex that can really move and roar but that was all.
- quite for from Udon Thani city about 1 hr drive.

Conclusion
if you're near by and got nothing to do, maybe this is a place for you to spend about an hour.

Worth a quick visit, or longer if you're a nature lover

You could trek through this park. There are old fossils inside a museum (including an animated dinosaur complete with sound effects, good for the kids); and statues in the park, make for some fine views.

Shell Fossil Museum
Okt 2015 • Teman
Located about an hour drive southwest of Udon Thani, this small outdoor park and museum area makes a fine sight seeing activity for both locals and tourists. It costs 50THB for farangs, 20THB for Thai nationals, and 10THB for kids. It offers free parking, food, bathrooms, souveniers, and enough sight seeing to warrant an hour or two. It also offers enough interesting items and colors to warrant a camera. Walking into the area, around the museum and grounds, and back is a short easy walk on pavement. The museum and other buildings do require removal of one's shoes, but otherwise there is no dress code to worry about.

The highway entrance itself is worth a stop and there is room to park and do so in order to take a picture. Which came first, this place or the movie I don't know, but I sure felt like it was an entrance drive for Jurassic Park World - definitely neat.

The museum building is small inside but professionally done with lit displays of various fossils and description plaques. I found most of the displays unimpressive but still worthwhile viewing for a short while - even the debatable Darwin evolutionary chart of man's development from apes. Mostly though, I was thrilled with the moving T-rex dinosaur. Even knowing its robotic harmless nature, up close I found the creature to be impressively realistic - enough to garner an idea of how scary it would be to face a real creature of such magnitude. Photos seem necessary, but the display warrants a video clip.

Elsewhere, the grounds offer a pretty and colorful walk bridge, a couple of impressive war memorials, and an abundance of very bright and colorful roosters. If you're looking for a short trip out of the city, this is a good, low key activity to explore at least once.

Million Year Old Shells
Nov 2014 • Sendiri
A small prehistoric museum, spread out in 2 buildings. One of them has a large display of, you guessed it, million-year-old fossilized shells, plus a lot of posters in Thai explaining how this museum was built. The other larger building has the usual dinosaur displays. Possibly the most impressive part of the museum is the large sauropod standing over the arched entrance to the museum, something you cannot possibly miss when you drive along highway 210.
