We visited to celebrate a 52nd wedding anniversary and were well looked after. The staff are very helpful and made our stay very relaxing. The entertainment was great and everyone who lived locally and came to the entertainment were very friendly also.

It was pouring with rain. We called to the cafe for lunch and a warm drink with our dog and was unable to gain access as dogs are not allowed. There was no properly covered nor heated area outside that we could use instead. Not good enough in a country park where you would expect to find walkers with dogs.

Stayed for two nights at the roe valley
It’s been a while since we have been there
For .. Neat and tidy functional and well maintained hotel must be 25 years old great for families with young children who love it
Staff are nice
Against.. Breakfast food not great mass produced .
Cost is poor value as are most n Ireland hotels
Same price as four star beachfront hotel in salou on half board . I don’t understand

A beautiful place for a walk, the paths are well maintained and clearly marked out. There are signs everywhere you need them and the walk along the river was just lovely. There are plenty of benches along the way if you need a rest or just to sit and look at the the view.
Then as an added bonus, the on site cafe serves great coffee and cake. We didn't have lunch, but the food that was being served at other tables looked great, I was sorry we had brought a picnic. I'm looking forward to having lunch there the next time we go.

Great place for a stroll around along the river and through wooded areas. Enough to keep even little ones occupied with a few ups and downs on the paths. Only criticism is there was nowhere to stop for a drink or bite to eat. Bring along a picnic with you.

After been told about Roe Valley country park on TA when I was staying in Portstewart decided to check it out.
It was well worth it and much enjoyed it. We chose a circular walk which took us back over the River.

Beautiful, scenic historic area. Visitors centre is at The Dog’s Leap a great historic story with coffee shop, great walks. The river is beautiful and so many great views. My favourite is under the bridge at the Dog Leap, you are down at the rivers edge, there are enormous rocks on the other side. It is a very special place.

The Country Park is a great place to simply chill and unwind. Picnic tables are available at the main car park as are toilets (close quite early though), and you have the added benefit of a cafe on site. Electric car… no problem, even has a charging point. You can walk at your leisure for along the side of the River Roe or join the many jogging around the path. Dog walkers are in abundance and the vast majority as responsible keeping their pets on leads and cleaning up after….
However, there are a few who seem to believe it is acceptable to allow their dogs to foul wherever and ignore the problem despite several red dog waste bins and allow their dogs to run free. This would be the only downfall, thankfully the Country Park have a great “crew” who keep the place maintained.
Hints…. During the wet weather be aware like all forest parks that the paths can become waterlogged in places and quite muddy. And good idea to keep an eye where you place your feet especially if you have young ones with you #somedogownersareirresponsible

So sad, to see what has happened to all the wild life that that used to exist in abundance in this beautiful place. Recently returned here after a long absence only to discover what David Attenborough refers to as 'human Intrusion'. It is still a beautiful place but now clearly devoid of the richness of the fauna and flora; which has now; unfortunately, been trampled out of existence...

Very peaceful and scenic walk, Free parking on site, bathroom facilities, it’s about 5km walk right round.

This is a hotel and leisure complex and I am sure that all the facilities are open all year. We had afternoon tea and there were other visitors coming into the hotel for coffee.
Plenty of weekend visitors walking fishing golfing You can be as active or relaxed as you want. There's also a swimming pool and spa

I'm partly disabled. I can only walk short distances. I can ride my modified bike several miles. Will I be allowed into the park to cycle the walkways with my wife, please.

Hello,
There is a disabled fishing area and there is disabled access to the centre and quite a few of the paths. You should be fine for an afternoon out there.
