We're at our 1. Evening in Alzey - rather coincidentally- arrived at the winery of the city of Alzey (attention: new location in Spießgasse 10) and received there a great wine recommendation and (at the moment still "from the Italian next door") a delicious little something to eat.
Then we decided to go there for a wine tasting with a larger group of wine-loving friends the following day.
All we can say is:
Rarely experiences such an interesting and entertaining wine tasting as this one with the boss Mrs. Scheuermann!
She responded to our preferences with the appropriate wines in each case, also presented good wines, which she suggested on her own initiative and brought a few vinophile surprises to the table.
Highly professional and with an incredible motivation and enthusiasm she led us almost two (!!) Hours through the wines of the Alzey and Becker wineries (yes, two wineries under one roof)...
In short:
we all loved and can only recommend these 2 wineries and the great location of the wine shop.
Already now we are looking forward to the arrival of our ordered wines, say a heartfelt thank you to Mrs. Scheuermann and her team and are very happy to come back.
