We visited Le Sacre Coeur on a rainy cold evening and were enthralled with it's beauty and peaceful feeling inside and out. The view of Paris from the top of the hill is breathtaking. There was no cost to get inside.

Whats a view‼️ Take a breath, up stairs and enjoy the awesome view. Try to identify many spots, too. It's funny, so nice!

One of the highlights of your visit to Paris especially night time since apart from Le Sacre Coeur, which is amazing, you have the opportunity to view the Paris from above and enjoy her beauty!

The Sacre Coeur cathedral is absolutely beautiful. The view of Paris is stunning. The Montmartre area is wonderful for a stroll with many coffee shops restaurants and artists painting.

It was really heartening to visit this artistically constructed Cathedral at height from where you can have extra ordinary nice view of Paris and especially of famous monuments i.e. Eiffel Tower etc at some distance. There are number of small restaurants and gift shops in the adjacent area. You being tourist feel scary while passing through hostile beggars while going towards this Cathedral. In my opinion at such like places Police should be available to immediately help the visitors in case of any problem. I along with my lady wife enjoyed visiting the amazing monument.

This is 300 steps, going round and round and round. It's harder than it looks but worth it for the views.
Beautiful architecture. Beautiful views. I would recommend this on a clear day, as we went up when it was foggy and could see much.

Le Sacre Coeur is an church outstanding building sited on top of a hill so there are lots of steps to ascend. There is a vernicular railway which you can use for a short lift and takes all of 90 seconds.
The views of Paris from the top are outstanding and you can spot other significant sights such as the Eiffel Tower in the distance.
Unfortunately, there were thousands of people congregated in the cathedral grounds, many not for spiritual reasons but for secular pursuits most notably the extraction of money from the visitor. Bizarrely there was a man on top of a lamppost clinging on with his arms playing keepy-uppy with a football while being raucously cheered by the on looking crowds. I said to my wife that the general scene reminded me of the scene in the Bible where Jesus casts out the money lenders from the temple grounds.

This place is like an oasis, looks amazing from far away but once you get close you are surrounded by a big pile of you know what. I visited this place with my husband because we were going to dinner at a quaint restaurant behind Le Sacre Coeur. At first we were amazed at how beautiful it looked on top of the hill but once you start walking up the stairs you get bombarded with guys trying to make you a "friendship bracelet" made out of string. I guess "No Thank You" means "grab me by the arm and intimidate me to let you finish the bracelet only to have your scary looking friends make me pay you for the ridiculous flimsy thing in bills only! ugh its absurd they do this to tourists but please be advised if heading to this place, do not make eye contact with them and don't be scared to curse at them if they put a hand on you.

Le Sacre Coeur is very beautiful. be prepared to walk, a lot, uphill. the surrounding area of Montmarte is really nice also

We met a lovely man who was the Church Warden and he showed us round - his English wasn't great so we got the opportunity to practice our pigeon french on him. The architecture is amazing from the Byzantian period with amazing murals and stained glass as well as stonework and interesting brick detail. Lots of history and well worth the 1 hour 30 minutes we were there.

Most of these reviews are incorrectly posted, they are the Paris Sacre Coeur and this is a church of the same name in Cholet, how do you report them and get them removed as they are misleading?
