“Moderate quality”

We were in cruising and the Livorno was the last stop before Rome. we wanted to go to the beach. First of all, it was impossible to get a taxi. Drivers first ask you where you want to go, if you are not going to a long-distance (such as Florence or Pisa) they pretend they are not available. we tried to find a taxi for 2 hours but we could not succeed. we went to bust stop there was a long delay. Finally, we reached the place. It takes 20 -30 minutes by bus. There were lots of beaches next to each other. It was not expensive but the sea was rough and windy.

Terrenia is not the place if you like a fantastic seaside, but this village is improving from year to year. The Bagno Tirrenia is clean and professional, a lot of space, restaurant, parking and relax. Thanks to my friend Paolo to suggested it to me. Godd place for family and children.

no private beaches in Tirrennia

I was a disappointing visit in Tirrenia due to a lack of private beaches there. Access to the see was limited as the seabeds reach almost to to the see, and I was surprised to see them occupied in 1/4 only - by young and 50+ people - while the families occupied a narrow and small public beach. I have comparison with other regions like Veneto, where one finds a sound balance between public and private beaches. I felt robbed from this freedom in Tirrenia - our budget was not the main factor, as our hotel manager offered us a private beach, after hearing our complains. I do prefer more egalitarian places, which was a main reason me and my family have decided finally to cancel our stay in Tirrenia and move elsewhere.

The beach is very nice and clean.
In the nearby cafe you can buy coffee, ice cream, drinks etc to a fair price.

The rent of chairs and umbrellas are too expensive. You could consider to use the money on a more expensive hotel that provides free or cheaper chairs and umbrellas.
For 5 people it was 34 euro every day - way too expensive. And bare in mind that you will not be allowed to come close to the water, these chairs and umbrellas are reserved for clients!!

Amazing Beach !

10K of beautiful golden sand with gently sloping crystal clear warm Mediterranean watters, with a nice selection of bars, shops and restaurants lining the promenade, a bit of a hidden jewel !

At last, a visit to one of those beaches I've seen in the movies & it didn't disappoint. Tidy rows of matching deck-chairs & umbrellas, soft, clean, golden sand & only a hop to a warm, calm sea.Facilities here good - restaurant, toilets, wooden changing huts - brilliant.

Decent option for a day at the sea

We came here after a day trip to Pisa to get a little sea and sun. This beach is clean, and relatively close to the bus station. An umbrella with 2 sunbeds is 15 Euros for the whole day. The food in the adjacent cafe is edible (albeit nothing special), and the price is very moderate. I would say it is a decent option if you are not too demanding. Please note that a lot of sunbeds are reserved in advance, so you might end up with those that are furthest from the water.

We were today at this beach.. when we arrived we had to pay 20 Euro Entrance and the nice guy showed us our Place.. we spent a nice afternoon and our Children had Fun.. later in the afternoon we checked that were a lot jelly fishes in the sea so we decide to go.. we went to the Entrance to ask were we can Change ourself.. at this time was a middleaged Women at the Entrance.. I Never met an unfriendlier Person in my Life.. at the question in wich cabin we can Change ourself , she answered: who said that u are allowed to Change yourself there?? Totally unfriendly with a face look like that she hates all People there.. if she is Not the owner of this beach she should Change her hob.. we paid 20 Euro so i Think we can Change ourself.. this was the 1st and the last Time that we went there.. I wish to give more Stars but After this unfriendly and unprofssional acting of this woman i give just 2 Stars... this Woman should learn how to Act with People and what it mean to be customer friendly for PAYING PEOPLE TOURISTS AND HUMAN BEEINGS!!!

Very nice and clean beach

Private beach. The cost of renting an umbrella and two sun loungers is 15 euros. Lots of families with children and seniors. Beach very clean, water in the sea also. Good access from Pisa, both by car and by public transport. The cost of public transport tickets for a family of three is 12 euros on both sides.

Not too crowdy in August, we got a discount while staying at Bristol Hotel. The only minus is the staff in restaurant, rather rude.
