The beach was very crowded, but with a mix of sunchairs for hire and the open sand beach area it was perfect for us. We only had an hour to spend so we didn't want to rent some chairs or parasols and then this was the only beach where we could take a short bath.

I don't visit often enough. There is a great value for umbrellas as well as food and drinks. The staff speaks English which is a big plus in my book

We have been coming to American beach for over 12 years. Lots of great memories here. No longer controlled by the USARMY. Parking is easy and cheap. Place has a snack bar and chairs with umbrellas to rent.

Non lo so, ci vado perché ha un'ampia spiaggia libera, dove mi stendo sul mio telo senza pagare; è proprio quello che i cittadini rivendicarono quando Camp Derby rinunciò alla concessione, prima riservata ai propri dipendenti (da lì il nome)
