The architecture, the quiet, the views, and especially the Ghost Cucumber cocktail served at the rooftop bar of Hotel Helvetia all come together to make a visit to the little spot on earth a must add to any respectable travel wish list.

Nice small bay just across from the huge commercial area. Beautiful and quiet. Rocky beach. Busy even before the high season. Looked like several locals enjoyed swimming every day.

We visited the bay a few time during our stay in Sestri Levante. Being a public beach it gets busy even off season, yet it’s very beautiful. Worth visiting early in the morning or later in the evening to take pictures or a drinks at one of the bars around the area

The best place for drinking cocktails at sunset. Very nice little bay with unique ambiance. Much nicer than the commercialized 5-Terre.

We have come here for many years and I unfortunately have to say that the water has appeared to be dirty and brown for several years now. The Bay of Silence is beautiful but I would not swim here.

Baia del Silenzio.. We visited this place in September and due to Covid entry to the beach is limited. Day before we arrived at 09.30 and it was already full so we werent allowed to enter. We were told to arrive arrive earlier than 08:00. Today we arrived at 07:00, there were already many people on the beach. We watched the sunrise. By 08:30 they closed the entry. Theres a designated place for all visitors so once you’re in its really pleasant and worths every second of waking up early :)
Its a small public beach, better come prepared with your umbrella and stuff. There are restaurants and bars around.
If you’re in Liguria , do not miss this amazing spot!

Sestri Levante is located on the italian Riviera. The Bay of Silence is a small picturesque bay very good for swimming and is frequented by locals during the summer months. This is mostly what you can do here, just swim. At the end of the bay is the Citto Beach Bar where you can enjoy views drinks and snacks.

Love this hidden treasure! Locals are aware of the 'Bay of Silence' in Sestri Kevante. Gorgeous location without the hassle or €€€ of Portofino and just the other side of the bay!

Esistono due strutture che a pagamento , forniscono spiaggine e ombrelloni. Non è però possibile prenotare in anticipo.

Have read that beach gets very packed in the summer, especially on weekends. We are driving through and would like to stop for a few hours to enjoy the beach. If necessary, are there beach lounges for rent? Are they difficult to rent if we don’t book in advance? All suggestions are appreciated.

Recommend taking a foldable chair or beach towels if you're lucky enough to find a spot in this popular but rather crowded beach during the summer months.

Ciao ti confermo che non è possibile portare i cani durante l'alta stagione (praticamente da Maggio in poi).
però sull'altra spiaggia (baia delle Favole) è possibile nell'area cani predisposta: ovvero un tratto di spiaggia più o meno recintata in cui potete piantare il vostro ombrellone e passare la giornata con il cane che corre avanti e indietro per il mare. Si trova nelle vicinanze del lido Luna Blu (giusto per avere un'idea di posizione). buona vacanza

Prendendo un treno regionale dalla stazione di Genova Brignole il viaggio dura mediamente 1h 07': vi sono tre differenti opzioni di durata (0h 49', 1h 08', 1h 23'). Il costo del biglietto è di 4,90 € a persona, solo andata. In caso facessi andata e ritorno il prezzo rimarrebbe invariato e, perciò, il costo totale del viaggio sarà di 9,80 € a testa.
