After eating Italian food for several days we were hungry for something that wasn’t Italian. Located on the edge of a roundabout in Cernobbio is an English pub that has a wine shop, excellent selection of draft ales and pub fare menu. We opted for a burger with all the fixings and a side of fries and a regional pint. It was a great choice. Friendly service and reasonable prices all made for a good experience.

I live in Cernobbio and I go to Andrea’s Pub regularly, mostly for the extensive selection of artisanal draft beers (at least ten in the menu). I also stayed over for dinner several times and they serve great steaks & burgers. Strongly suggested!

Just had a dinner and bottle of Prosecco , burger was one of the best I ever had, Prosecco local?? Very good!! Tried some dark beer and kind of Gin, perfect !! Service top, when leaving the pub I have mentioned that the burger was very good, the owner give us a book with some locals recipes!!cant complain at all, will come back definitely, and the prices?? Very cheap for the amount and quality you get !!

Found this little gem and stayed till the early hours. Lovely night and made to feel very welcome
When we couldn't get a taxi to our hotel the owner drove us to our hotel on two separate occasions

Wow, I am glad I didn't read the reviews before heading over to this pub. I had a great experience tonight at the pub;
Angelo, Frenchesco, and one other mate, who's name I can't recall, we're terrific bar tenders. I came in solo and the three of them made me feel right at home as if the bar was in my home town. The atmosphere is great, the main building was an old ice house, so the architecture and structure is charming. I went on a Tuesday night, so the crowd was a little thin, but if your looking for a group of bartenders to chat with and a nice atmosphere this is the place to be in Cernobbio. I will be returning just for the company.

"Toxic dump" is a strong understatement regarding this very dodgey hovel , falsely advertising itself as a "clean,friendly traditional English Pub experience" . DO NOT stay there . If you do , be sure to put on an industrial hazard suit and check your room BEFORE handing over the cash they will definitely be trying to get off you first .
The double room we had booked months in advance, turned out to be a filthy , dank and dirty kennel with 2 single stretcher beds , soiled bedding and an TV from the dark ages that didn't work .
The stench pouring out of the "en suite" was enough to bring down a block of flats and the staff were no more than the human equivalent .
When I asked for a refund I was put on the phone to a very sloppy sounding yob who claimed to be the Manager and told me from the safety of his car 2 hours away that my Wife and I could "just get orn wiv eet".
Bottom line - we were ripped off by a disgustingly unprofessional ,tacky mob of false advertising shonks.

Went there tonight as i was after a proper ale (e.g. fullers ESB) or IPA. upon arrival no body welcomed us and, as we tried to make our way to the bar, the guy at the counter told us off and said to wait at the entrance to be seated.. If they want to be a proper British pub, then they should know that in wherever pub in uk you dont need to wait for "your" table: just fetch your drinks and get a table by your own.. When i went to pay the guy was rude and didnt asked whether everything was ok. Overall a quite disappointing experience most notably because this pub used to be a proper piece of Britain in Cernobbio where you cud find goods ales, whiskeys, carrot cake and even trifle! Therefore with this new management just avoid to go there!

When a group of local children celebrating Halloween shows up at the venue it would be appropriate to at least welcome them with a smile. An undeserved mark for insensitivity, arrogance and rudeness. Regardless of quality and prices they would still deserve the minimum score
