Having arrived in Oslo the day after the football season finished and leaving the day before Norway played Finland we had to get our sporting fix in another way. We opted for the ice hockey match between Vålerenga and Stjernen. We booked the tickets online before we left Scotland. Even a fire alarm going off 17 seconds into the first period causing an evacation of the building didn't dampen our spirits. The home team won 5-2. The food was traditional sporting fare, albeit with a Norwegian twist.
