I have many times to this library and I must say that it is amazing. When you like it from a bridge nearby it seems to float at the water.

This building is really impressive! It is situated right next to the river. It was very snowy when I was there but I can imagine a lovely place to sit with a packed lunch.....

This building is really impressive! It is situated right next to the river. It also has some really nice grounds around it with swinging chairs. The library itself has a really well planned layout with plenty of seating. There were also some books in English.

As soon as I embarked on a journey to see the centre of Halmstad, my first place to see was this library. It was a great choice, if you are interested in architecture of modern libraries you should definitely visit this one! Looks amazing both on the outside and the inside. What is more, there are books in a lot of languages

The library in Halmstad is rather modern and the architecture is very special. It seems that the library is lying on the river of Nissan seen from the bridge nearby.

As a Library should be! Borrow books, music, magasins, use computer, read daily newspapers from all over the world, etc. You can also visit the caffe' for coffe or lunch.

A pleasant place to study or work. It has individual tables and a sofa, which allows you to spend the day working in a pleasant and welcoming place.

If You want to read Your favourite magazine or check out a new authors book the Halmstad City library is the place. Every week are there something happening there. It could be, from avantgard Jazz to art exibition. If you are interested in Genealogy the library has a well equipped department for that. After all reading and listening You visit the library Café, and have a Swedish "fika". The library is situated in the city center.

In this interesting design, hanging out over the river Nissan, and with a tree in the centre, you can find books, films, and other things for the whole family. A lot of activity here. If you have a card for the library - you can use internet for a shorter limited time.
