Catarina Fairmont planned and help execute a great trip to Spain and Portugal. The accommodations she selected were excellent as well as the guides. I have already recommended TourTailors to our friends.

We asked Tour Tailors to organize a 21 day experience in Portugal. We gave them a broad outline of what we would like to do and see.
Our travel consultant, Gonçalo Oliveira sent us a proposed itinerary, which we massaged a couple of times. The trip turned out to be wonderful. Our trip included renting a car for 14 days, with a GPS that plotted out our entire trip. It made it easy to get from place to place.
All of the Hotels were excellent. All of the guided tours that we took were very informative and fun.
If we had any issues we were able to contact Tour Tailors and talk to real person, who helped us resolve any of our issues.
Absolutely a top drawer company to deal with. I highly recommend them.

We can't say enough about how well planned and executed our trip to Portugal was done. From our pickup at the airport everything went smoothly for the week that we were there. Catarina took our information and planned a wonderful trip for us to see historical sites, eat, learn cultural ways, eat, and learn. She also provided recommendations for other things to do on our 'off' days. The vendors that TourTailors selects such as the limo and taxi services are top notch. The drivers are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The hotels were top notch and in great locations at each stop. We stayed in Lisbon (Tuk Tuk tour, dinner with Fado, river cruise) and Evora (walking tour, winery tour with a Michelin star restaurant meal) and visited Sintra (historic castles and awesome bakery) and the coast (for another awesome meal with a view). We had never worked with a travel company to plan a self-guided tour like this, and we had some concerns. However, this was worth every penny and more. We didn't have to worry about anything - just enjoy the sites, sounds and tastes of southern Portugal. I think Spain may be next!

TourTailors did an excellent job in helping us plan our 9-day trip in Portugal! We started in Lisbon, drove to Porto, Geres National Park, Douro Valley, and then concluded in Cascais. The hotels, the guides and the drivers were all excellent. The pre-programmed GPS as well as the recommended stops on the road contributed to a superb trip. I would definitely use TourTailors again.

We would like to congratulate TourTailors and their Representative Ines Bastos in helping us plan our 18 day trip throughout Portugal. We visted Lisboa, Sintra, Obidos, Nazare, Porto, Braga, Belmonte, Viseu, Pinhao / Duoro Region, Evora, Sagres, Lagos, and Armacao de Pera. All the recommended hotels and restaurants were great, as well as their tour operators and drivers. Fantastic trip.

We were delighted with the self-drive package Tour Tailors prepared for us in parts of Portugal and northern Spain. They listened to our preferences, assisted by a Zoom session to fine tune the itinerary, and delivered. Walking tours were organised in all the places we visited and the guides and drivers were all professional and very informative. Accommodation organised for us was excellent. Supporting information for drivers, dining and tour suggestions were all provided. We also had the confidence of knowing that if anything did go wrong, we could call their help line while on tour. Pre-Payment on-line through an Australian bank account was trouble-free. Highly recommended. Return by post of the hire car's GPS system in Barcelona was a bit of a hassle, but was a good opportunity to explore the city further!

We travelled to Spain in September this year and had a fabulous 3 week trip. We heard about Tour Tailors through our friends who we were travelling with and although we had already started planning our trip, we asked Tour Tailors to suggest activities that we could do in each of our chosen destinations. Without exception, all our guides were terrific, and the Paella cooking class in Valencia was a highlight! Our consultant Caterina Firmo was so helpful, she listened to our interests and devised an itinerary that was perfect. She suggested day trips that we had not thought of and these were all wonderful, especially Toledo, which we had not considered visiting, but I'm so glad we did, it was so interesting. Our guide there was exceptional as well as being a lovely guy.
I have told many people about Tour Tailors since we have returned, we were so impressed by this company and their attention to detail. We would not hesitate to use them again to plan a trip from the beginning!!

We can't say enough good things about the trip Ines Bastos at Tour Tailors planned for us. It was 12 days of traveling the country by car experiencing all the wonderful sites, staying at fabulous hotels, eating delicious food, and drinking great wines! Using the GPS directed us all along the way which took the hassle out of finding our way around. The tours she lined were great. Some had to be cancelled due to weather and illness we experienced. The support we received from the team was very helpful. We highly recommend using Tour Tailors for travel plans!

I've done a lot of travel over the years. Our recent driving tour of Portugal was organized through TourTailors. They did a great job. It was well put together, meeting all of our requirements. Their Tour Book and App were very useful and greatly enhanced our experience. Our tour consultant, Chiara Giancaspro was very responsive and helpful.
I can highly recommend her and them.

We are thinking of buying a tour from Portugal Trials for a group of 13 over Christmas and New Years and they have given us a good price, itinerary.
The company want payment through PayPal or bank wire instead of through credit card and that bothers me. Was this other travelers experience as well?

We were skeptical but it all worked out. We paid pay pal with credit card. We were so pleased with the service and organized travel plan. The guides were first class too. Don't let the payment issue deter you from using this company.

Portugal Trails customize an itinerary for traveling in Portugal and Spain. There is no fee for their service. They will book and arrange lodging, tours, transfers, activities, car rental, restaurants etc. They are extremely helpful and accommodating to your needs and budget.

Can Portugal Tours provide only certain services, such as airport pick-up and drop-off, car delivery, and certain tours? Perhaps some hotel stays? I would like a little more self-planning, using AirBnB stays, but like the idea of some services.
