we didn't go in for long .... our neighbor is into models and we thought we might pick him up a house-sitting gift.... but he is into militaria and this place focuses on autos of all sorts. prices were Swiss but not unreasonable. easy to find, not far from the clock in old town

Outstanding Model Car Shop!

If you enjoy looking at or collecting model cars, this is the place for you. I've looked in every major European city that I've been to, and this has by far the best collection: hundreds of different model cars ranging in price from about $30-$300. They have American cars, exotics, European classics, hard-to-find Russian and Eastern European cars, all in beautiful mint condition. The man who run the shop is very nice, speaks perfect English, and loves what he does. The shop is a branch of, and next to, Buchi Optik, and eyewear shop that has been around since 1871. Highly recommended for model car collectors and toy lovers.
