Walter was amazing! I had been following multiple travel groups in search of a driver for our day at port in Livorno. I saw his name mentioned in a few different groups all with rave reviews, and decided to reach out to inquire about availability and pricing. We got so lucky- not only did he have availability but his quote was more than fair. Walter and I communicated via email for weeks before our actual trip- he was always so quick to respond and helpful in coming up with the perfect itinerary for us (and even let us change the plan last minute when my brother decided he wanted to add Florence to our plan).

On the day of, he greeted us as we arrived and made sure we were on schedule for each location. He was also so knowledgeable and passionate about the region and its history that it made the commute between destinations even more enjoyable. It was the perfect day in Tuscany- topped off by a surprise marriage proposal at a beautiful winery where Walter seemed genuinely happy for us.

I would recommend Walter to anyone looking for a driver! FYI: he also does multi-day trips (which we're definitely doing for our anniversary)!

Do not look any further, book with Walter. He truly gave us the most memorable one day tour in the Tuscan region. He was responsive to our questions before we arrived helping us to plan a day to remember. He picked us up as soon as we arrived in Livorno port, shared his knowledge and expertise of this beautiful region of Italy. Highlight was the amazing winery he brought us to for an experience my mom, sisters, and I will never forget. We did a lot in one day, I only wish we had a longer stay. Listen to his advice and don't pack in too much, take your time and explore with him this amazing place. I absolutely 100% recommend Walter as your private driver and hope to book with him again one day.

Two Days with Walter in Tuscany

Highly recommended! We booked a 2-day trip around Tuscany with Walter, and it was perfect. Walter was amazing with his local knowledge and communication before and during our trip, he went above and beyond with every detail and we loved our time with Walter - making our 2 days in Tuscany better than we could have hoped for.
We had 2 very packed days (Walter did warn us it was possibly too much but that was what we asked for) and it allowed us to visit and experience the sites we wished to see.
Tip: Take Walter's advice and do not pack so much into your day - allow more time to just relax and spend more time taking in the surroundings and the sites a bit more.
If/when we can return to Tuscany we will definitely be booking Walter again.

Walter was Fabulous!!!

Where do I start???? Walter picked us up in Florence from our Air BnB and travelled us all over Tuscany for 4 days. He picked us up and dropped us off each evening at our Air BnB inTuscany. He made several recommendations on wineries and towns to visit before our arrival. He made all of our appts and he made an appt for our truffle hunting experience also. Everything he chose was simplest fabulous!!! He provided knowledge throughout the driving portions on the various areas and traditions. He even stopped in Siena on evening with us to grab some pizza so that we would not have to go back out that evening. We were so fortunate to find Walter and would never book with anybody else!!! Walter, thank you for making our Tuscany experience truly a lifetime memorable. We are forever grateful!!!

I was fortunate that a member of our travel group took the time to do some sourcing and found Walter for our group's week in Tuscany. Walter is professional, reliable, helpful, friendly, prompt, knowledgable, and a joy to be with. We used his services for various transportation needs, sight-seeing, and wine-tasting (of which he arranged). He is more than just a private driver... he is really a concierge in many ways. Everything he arranged for us was excellent... and we are not a group of newbies to Europe or to wine; we are seasoned travelers and wine lovers so the bar was set high and Walter did not disappoint! I honestly feel that Walter significantly enhanced our experience in the Tuscan region and had our travel companion not had the good fortune to find him, our trip would just not have been quite as enjoyable.

An Exceptional Driving Service in the Tuscany Area

We highly recommend hiring Walter for any transportation needs in the area he serves. He was exceptional in every way, including being an excellent driver, great with communication, always on time and his willingness to accommodate our small group's plans. In addition to proving basic airport transportation, we hired Walter to take us to a couple of wineries of his choice in the Pisa and Firenze areas. All of us agreed that this was the highlight day of a wonderful trip, and a big thank you to Walter for making it happen.

Reliable private transfer from Livorno to Porto Venere

Walter was our private driver from Livorno cruise ship port to Porto Venere. He met us promptly at the port in the morning. Along the way, Walter provided information about areas we were passing by and about the places we will be visiting. He is reliable and polite. On our next trip to Tuscany, we would ask Walter to be our driver again.
