WOW factor was everywhere!

Very friendly, welcoming and informative host. Great wines especially the whites, specifically Moscato grape production, but above all the beauty of the estate... Just wow! The setting, architecture and history behind it.... Dates back to when the Greeks and Arabs used the same estate for wine production!

Me and my husband booked a wine tasting, and Sebastian was such a great host. He is the owner of the Winery and made our visit 10 of 10 points. Very personal, very intrestering stories about the history of the castle and Siracusa as a city. And of course - the wines. It was SO good!!! Absolutley loved it. Can recommend everyone visting Siracusa to make a trip to Pupillo.

Really interesting tour providing a fascinating insight into Sicillian history. The wine and lunch were delicious and very generous. Sebastiano was a brilliant host and we were sad to leave such beautiful surroundings!

Fabulous Day!

What a beautiful place! We had a wonderful time with fantastic wines and delicious food pairings. Sebastiano, who is part owner, gave an interesting talk about the area. This is a hidden gem not to be missed.

Beautiful place. We had a tour around the buildings. Very nice
We had lunch and winetasting . Very good, - wines and the food.. The presentation of the wines could have been more specific

Fabulous Wine Tour

We (3 ladies) booked a winery tour with a light lunch through the winery several months ago when we decided to return to Sicily and am so glad we did. Sebastiano was a wonderful guide and host explaining and describing the history of the land from ancient times through until his family began the winery. The light lunch was matched with several of the families wines and were delicious and perfectly matched. Sebastiono's passion for Sicily, it's history and his family's history and heritage is obvious. Can't recommend this tour high enough

Wonderful visit - absolutely worth the time!

What a great time we had with Sebastiano!
We had a tour of the grounds which included a bit of the background of the area, the property and the history of wine-making in this vineyard.
The wine was very good. The lighter wines were tasty and refreshing while the bolder reds were full bodied and delicious. Each of the wine tastings paired incredibly well with the small dishes provided.
All in all, we highly recommend this tour - if we are ever in the area again, we will be sure to return!

We absolutely loved this experience! Sebastiano was friendly and very knowledgeable. The wine and food was delicious!! Interesting history and tour of the private gardens too. Would absolutely recommend

Friendly and with food and wine

This was a pleasant visit to a family run winery. The people were friendly and welcoming. This visit turned out to be part of a group tour. The food accompaniments to the wine were delicious. The wines were all very young and distinctly Sicilian linked to the local grapes that the island is limited to growing. Overall the wines were a matter for personal taste and not quite to ours. Enjoyed the visit though.

Great wine tasting visit with lunch

We really enjoyed our visit here. Sebastiano was friendly and very informative. He gave us a very interesting talk about the history of the castle and gardens, before the tasting of 3 wines with pairings of food for each one.
We arranged the visit ourselves and had taxi there and back from Siracusa for 50 euros .
All in all good value and enjoyable tour.
