I waited for years to get the chance to visit this place. Finally! It was worth it. i had a student discount and got the tickets online. Spent some 3-4HRs walking around this huge place. I highly recommend this museum even if you are not an ancient Egypt culture nut.

With our teens visited the museum. It was a rainy day and it was not planned and a friend recommended to visit it. It happened to be really great. The expositions are clearly displayed and it really takes you back to the Pharan's times.

Don’t waste your money. For 15 euros I expected a better museum experience. Clearly the focus is on herding massive crowds through the door regardless of how it impacts on the quality of the experience. From the moment we arrived their was just shouting, pointing and ushering. We were funnelled through the gates with everyone else. At no point were we directed to where we could collect a map or an audio guide. Just someone looking at their watch and telling us to hurry up even tho we arrived during our booked time. After ascending numerous escalators we walked into the first room to see….. nothing. There are exhibits of course but the place was so crowded, mostly with school groups that you couldn’t get near anything nor read information labels. We tried walking around but every turn brought yet another raucous school group. It’s impossible to enjoy the museum like this, with the noise and the crowds and the pushing. We were also instructed to bring mask/face covering. Of course no one in there was wearing one except us. Given how much money we had spent we tried to persevere and thought we should return to the ground floor to get a map. Of course we were bellowed at yet again for going the wrong way. So clearly you are not free to enjoy the museum it’s purely a get in get out give us your money exercise in crowd control. By this point we had enough of the rude staff and the massive crowds and saw dozens and dozens more school groups gathering in the foyer so decided to leave. A truly awful experience. Its clear what the prime objective is here and it’s not Egyptology.

Location: good
in the city center, close by foot.

Language: Italian (tures and information), English - poorly only exibits info
Exibis Information: very poor
the information almost all dedicated about how the item arrived to turin and very poor information about the item itself.

Exibis: ok and poor
most items are nice but with the lack of information it is hard to understend the context and the date of the item usage.
some of the items are actual mommys and dead bodys which was distarbing for me (the deads should have minimum respect).

I will not visit or recommend to visit.

A very cool and informative museum. It has a huge and very comprehensive collection. The one downside is that the layout is a bit confusing to follow if you’re walking around, but even out of order the museum is great

The place is really big and you’d need 3 hours to cover everything. Make sure you leave enough time and strength for the exhibits towards the exit, as they are amazing.
Also, tickets are available only online at the moment, but the purchase is ready straightforward. Don’t book the last slot (yes, there are open slots available) as you’ll only have just above 2h to see everything.

Amazing museum, so many artefacts in great condition. This place makes the British Museum look like a toy! A must see for any visit to Torino

There is so much to see here. Give yourself at least 3 hours if you want to do it justice. The entrance area and the first exhibition area were very crowded, especially with seemingly never-ending groups of school children. Things improved on the other floors. There isn’t much in the way of seating as you walk around, so be prepared for a lot of walking and standing. The cafeteria is also closed at the moment and food & drink are not allowed inside, so be prepared for a long trek without a pit stop. We were asked to keep haversacks in front of us by the not very friendly ushers, even though there was technically nothing to knock over as all exhibits are behind glass. Use the cloakroom facilities if you can. The links to online explanations on various exhibits via YouTube video clips are only in Italian The exhibits themselves are stunning and overall definitely worth a visit.

A great museum - the second biggest Egyptian museum after the museum in Cairo.
Nearly 200 years old with more than 40,000 artifacts of which 3,300 are on display.
€15 entrance fee.

Lots of school groups which we didn't expect on a Sunday. Some of their guides were very loud. Don't think it would be a good place for children. Very difficult to read the descriptions of the exhibits due to the lighting. You can get a locker to put your coats in for a euro which was handy as it was very hot.
