Worst Food Experience of our life

We were a couple on the Food & Wine Pairing Dinner. The evening started out fine - with some cheeses (burrata, mozarella and ricotta) paired with a glass of Prosecco, but it all went down hill from there. The serving size of the wines is pitiful. It would be fine for a wine tasting, in order to purchase some wine, but for dinner it was a woeful amount of wine. I would guess less than 200ml total for 8 wines. The cacio e pepe was awful, it was so dry and flavourless. The worst pasta of our trip - I've had better pasta at service stations. In fact, with the cacio e pepe (which I consiedered to be the "main course", I aksed for a small top up of the wine, but was refused! Then came some parmigiano reggiano (2 tiny peices). I was a bit cheesed-out, so politely asked if I could skip that course. I was met with an afront, like I'd offended them. I was told "well, I don't suppose you'll want your Tiramasu then, given it contains mascarpone". When the others we were dining with got their parmigiano reggiano, nobody ate it. My partner said it was awful, like it had been sat out to dry for weeks. Having been to parmigiano reggiano factories on a previous visit to Italy, we know what good parmigiano reggiano takes like.... and this stuff wouldn't even be passable at a supermarket in the UK. And all this for £150 as a pair - terrible value. We were so hungry we went and shared a pizza (and a proper glass of wine) after. I guess this experience would have been fine for lunch and at £75 total, not each. Even then, the pitiful service wouldn't be worth it.

Great time for the family!

Our Family of 5 went to this cooking class and it was awesome! Lily(sp?) was great. She was engaging, entertaining and most importantly the food was outstanding! The wine pairings were great as well and we all learned so much about the many regions of Italian wine. Our youngest was 9 years old and had so much fun participating. Thank you all so much!

We did the food and wine tour whilst on holiday and really enjoyed it!
We sat with two other couples and enjoyed the whole experience!
Worth the money :)

A disappointment

Overrated. This restaurant has an amazing wine list that we never got the chance to learn about. The staff was polite but rushed. They did not ask what we wanted but instead told us what we should drink. We were really looking forward to trying new and interesting wines and left disappointed. The food was good but again we were told what to eat. Would not return.

I’m so sorry but have to give this restaurant a 1
The only thing that saved it from a full 0 was the staff….
Food was uneatable, wine was all natural, so disappointing

Fabulous cooking class!

We did the cooking class/wine pairing that featured tiramisu, meatballs, making 2 types of fresh pasta, and three sauces; Amatriciana, Carbonara and Cacio Pepe. Wine pairings to match the food were provided. We were co hosted by a chef and sommelier. They do such a good job. It was easy to follow, used quality ingredients and both ladies were very knowledgeable and kind. I would highly recommend this experience, you will not be disappointed.

Cooking class - a must do!

We participated in a lunch cooking class, which was our favorite activity over our two-week vacation! We cannot recommend it enough to our family and friends.

It was the perfect mix of cooking and wine - it was a wonderful afternoon, and we didn't want to leave when it was over!

We made kinds of pasta, three different sauces, dessert, and meatballs - then once we were done cooking, we started sampling the wine with each of our dishes. It was such a fun experience and both the chef leading the class and the sommelier leading the wine tasting were down-to-earth, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable. I cannot recommend taking a cooking class enough and we cannot wait to go back!
