Fascinating and free!! Awesome and interesting experience! It IS hard to find! See photos for directions! Enter into the university, up the stairs to the right, down a long hall (students studying!) and enter!

A wonderful anatomical collection, consisting of malformations, developmental stages of embryos, different pathologies and general anatomy. The museum is free to visit and they provide a free audioguide in english! Would highly recommend.

Amazing experience - a true gem in Naples! Very interesting to see and you really learn a lot by listening to the audio guide. We were welcomed by a kind and polite man who explained how to use their app. :)

Amazing collection! One can download an app to get an audio tour in Italian or English. The staff was extremely helpfull. Can only recommend it.

This is a great museum full of morbid curiosities and is tucked away within the University. Tickets are free and we booked ours online before visiting. Had a friendly welcome from Michele who helped us to download a translated explanation of the exhibits on display. Because the museum is hidden within the university, it was not very busy and there was plenty of space to look at everything in detail.
This museum is a must see if you enjoy science, anatomy and history and is filled with unique collections of wax models and real preserved specimens. We spent about an hour here and managed to look at every exhibit.

This museum was not so easy to find but we are glad we did! It is a fairly decent size, with a wide range of specimens to keep you fascinated for a good hour or so, and even an online audio guide. And it was even free! Not for the faint of heart though - there are bottles of preserved mutant fetuses that look like the tortured souls of the damned. Interesting for scientists, artists and those with morbid curiosity.

Very interesting and in-depth exhibition, there's a vast amount of things to see and It's probably the first time I've seen anything like it. Definitely one of the must do's when you're in Naples but it might not be for the faint of heart.

Visiting Napoli on a few rainy November days, we decided to hop between churches and museums and made a stop at the MUSA. It is a vast and one of the oldest - if not the oldest - collections of anatomic objects, and therefore also allows you to get a glimpse into medical and anatomic history. Florindo, the custodian, is very knowledgable and there is an English walking tour accessible with your mobile phone via QR code.

Truly wonderful and educational. The audio tour was very insightful and I am quite impressed on the depth and breadth of each collection. I can definitely say that if you are sensitive to human anatomy it is better to skip. Nonetheless, we had a very fruitful afternoon
