Make sure you are fit, as its quite a walk round and in the heat of Cordoba, it becomes an endurance challenge. However, the cool of the patios and the flowers are beautiful. Too successful really as our group shuffled past others. But definitely seeing and rewarding the owners for all their hard work during the year.

This patios and all other patios in Curtoba.
I still don't understand why these "patios business " are considered attractions on TripAdvisor.
They look pretty, and flowers from different types but what is the historical significance, or religious value for example?
I felt I was invating someone background.
Wasted my time from other real attractions in Curtoba.

I wish it was clearly stated the tour was only being offered in Spanish. Whilst I understood much of what was said, I didn’t get all. Moreover, I thought we would be seeing more the 2.5 patios. That said, the time slot was perfect as there were less tourists.

Many, colorful and all different from one another. All of the patios will take your breath. May is perfect time for a visit, but you will enjoy also in summer as I did!

My wife and I poked our heads into the alley of Los Patios De San Basilio during our visit to Cordoba this past November. A young woman was posing for a photo by her companion below the colorful flowers in the pots placed in the cracks in the walls. It is very picturesque.

The patios of cordoba are beautiful and amazing. Worth walking around and seeing the creativity of people. Definitely worth doing.

The guide never showed up. I called twice and nobody answered. I also emailed and I’m still waiting to hear back. I hope I will get a refund, but the fact that nobody has contacted me doesn’t give me hope.

The Cordoba Patio Festival takes place for two weeks early in May. Many of the houses in Cordoba are built around a central courtyard / patio. For the festival these patios are filled with plants and the house owners allow the public to enter. San Basilio is a district of Cordoba in which there is a concentration of houses which take part in the festival. They will not be open in November.

En esa fecha algunos patios estarán cerrados. Hay varios sitios en dinde se pueden comorar las entradas. Yo vi 4 y das la voluntad. No pagué en ninguno.

Están abiertos en Agosto? Me llama la atención que no encuentro ningún recorrido para los meses julio-agosto para visitar los patios. A qué se debe? En qué fechas de agosto están abiertos?

En Julio y en Agosto los hace un calor en Córdoba de mucho cuidado. Yo fui a visitar los patios en Diciembre que hacÃa un frÃo que pelaba. Creo que los recorridos son para la primavera, fuera de esas fechas puedes visitarlos igual.
Los patios están divididos en dos visitas distintas porque pertenecen a familias distintas. Yo te recomendarÃa que te dirigieras a una tienda de sombreros y mercerÃa que existe justo enfrente de la puerta de las Caballerizas Reales y allà compraras las entradas para ver tres de los patios. Los otros te saldrán alguien por las calles del barrio para venderte la entrada.

Thank you Mary for the review on the Patio tours. Where can I get a map of the homes with all the flowers or the addresses so I do not have to pay for the tour? I like to view them on my own, like you and take my time.
I will only be in Cordoba for about 6 hours hoping off the train from Madrid on my way to Seville.
I want to do these Patios most of all and then Palace of Viana. I may add the Mezquita Cathedral.
