Lovely square with many cafes and restaurants, also very close to the harbour. Loved the fountain in the middle of the square, worth a visit

This is a nice tiny square and I believe it is very enjoyable in a nice weather during tourists season. I visited Flensburg at the end of October during bank holiday when most of restaurants and cafes were closed and the place was "decorated" by piles of chairs stored in front of them and was not too charming. I found better places in the town that day.

This square offers many beautiful pubs and dining places. Youngsters and retired both enjoy sitting outside for drinks and food. Relaxing atmosphere and after dinner or drinks a stroll along the short lane to the harbor will show you why people like Flensburg.

This little plaza is very nice and has a beautiful fountain. Around the plaza are many cafes and also a second hand shop that I'll have to come back and check out.

I had a lovely time walking this main street in Flensburg. Lots of shops, restaurants, and beautiful buildings. The Nordermarkt end seems to be geared to a more quite setting and the shops close earlier. As you walk south the street changes to accommodate the college students and families with longer hours and chain shops. Great place to spend an afternoon and then dinner. This street has it all.

Just located south of the Marienkirche, this is a lovely town square with a small central fountain. Just relax, take a seat in one of its cafes and soak in the atmosphere. Then its time to do window-shopping along Flensburg's main pedestrian street.

We sat in the Nordermakt on the Sunday evening on the first day of our visit, it was warm and friendly, there was a busker entertaining the tourists and the atmosphere was excellent

Basically this is one end of the pedestrian zone, however this place does not offer anything special besides a water fountain. If you like to go shopping, just walk along from here to the Südermarkt.
