Nice stadium, easily accessible. Quite nicely designed, modern arena, for all that is worth. Big arena, but relatively intimate, at the same time. Good and efficient staff in excellent away end. Fine food! Very much a modern football experience.

Our business club from NEO Borne/NL visited the match Wolfsburg against Augsburg on May 18, 2019. One of our former players, Wout Weghorst, plays the hitman in VFl. And what a match: Endscore 8-1 for VFl W! 3 Goals of the hitman What a weekend. Everyone who enabled this many thanks.

Very nice stadium with seats right at the lines of the field, so an excellent view of the match! Friendly (English speaking) personnel and clean bathrooms.
They have a chipcard payment system in the stadium: inside the stadium you can get one at the cashregister for a €10,- deposit, which you'll get back when you bring that card back. You can then load money onto that chipcard at the same cashregister and with that you can buy food and drinks at the (snack)bar. No problem if you don't finish the money on your card, you can get the rest back when you bring back your card!

My 16 year old daughter wanted to do something for her birthday and always wanted to attend a Bundesliga match. Fortunately for us the weekend we chose was the weekend that Bayern Munich were playing. Although Wolfsburg were defeated 2-1 it was still a good experience with a great atmosphere. The stadium is easily accessible and there was plenty of car parking spaces.
I booked our tickets through the main ticket office via email and telephone. Their English was so much better than my German and made the process really easy.
We also had a tour of their ‘world football’ area which displayed Wolfsburgs team history, both male and female. An added bonus was that a lot of the activities within were interactive. You were given a wristband and a password which meant that all your results could be downloaded onto your own computer, tablet, etc for you to keep as a memento of visiting, so long as you downloaded the info within 7 days.
The only thing I didn’t know was that they don’t accept cash in and around the stadium if you wish to purchase food and drink. You need to buy a preloaded card from the various places, of which there are many, at the stadium and then you’re good to go. The card is valid for up to 2 years so I’m keeping mine as I’m sure I’ll go again.

Great atmosphere, well maintained and very easily accessibly from the city center.
A direct bus is available from the main train station to the Autostadt and takes about 10 minutes to reach.
By foot it takes about 17 minutes from the main train station and conveniently located.

This is a must visit stadium on match day, brilliant atmosphere, food around ground brill and the walk on songs and lighting is amazing we visited from England stayed in Berlin got the train straight to station small walk and there 10/10 a must visit

I had a day to spare whilst I was away for a weekend in the Lower Saxony area so I decided to go to the nearest football game in the region which turned out to be a Wolfsburg game. The stadium is within walking distance of the Hauptbahnhof and it is quite a nice walk along the river to reach the stadium whilst taking in all of the sights of the surrounding Volkswagen facilities. I bought a ticket in the away section which unfortunately meant there was no beer being sold inside the arena which was a shame. The stadium is very modern and was definitely worth visiting even thou the football and atmosphere isnt so great compared to other stadiums.

My son and I visited for the game between Wolfsburg and Hoffenheim, the ground is easily accessible from the town centre and there is a great atmosphere.

Went for a tour round the stadium our tour guild was great told us a lot of information about this club it was that I treating even my other half who is not a big football fan enjoyed it got some great photos and as there was o my 3 of us on the tour it was more personal and had loads of time to answer questions if you visit the stadium the tour is a must

Hola que tal, en menos de un mes haré una visita al Volkswagen Arena y quisiera saber si existe un modo de llegar caminando desde la estación de trenes o tendría que usar transporte público. Para ambos casos también quisiera saber cuánto tiempo tardaría en llegar. Haré un viaje de ida y vuelta desde Berlín, literal, para ir al fútbol así que agradeceré mucho sus respuestas.
