Stayed in a nearby hotel and strolled into the park for some air.. Discovered this magnificent building. Impressive.

The castle was closed late in the afternoon but it is still worth to come to see amazing big building. There are also nice gardens around and a few old houses. It is an easy walk from Autostadt so no need for taking a car.

We visited the castle on a Sunday afternoon and had place to ourselves. Able to access the art exhbitions housed in the castle building for free. The actual “art” was beyond me but interesting to see the architecture of the castle itself. Pretty courtyard area with ivy adorning one side. Popular restaurant in the collection of buildings next to the castle and museum. Would recommend visiting the beautifully manicured gardens opposite the castle gates, a labour of love, so well maintained, remarkable during this summer heatwave.

Schloss Wolfsburg - a short walk from Autostadt, house a small museum and during our visit, there was a group of children having art class!
Beautiful castle and the surrounding gardens are well taken care of.
The Schloss Wolfsburg in Autuum is simply lovely

Little museum next to the castle but castle itself is closed for public. You can see the entire area in max 1 hour.

This castle is amazing, it is little but you can have a look at the history of the town and its beginings. The park around it is great for a walk and to relax. I found it just beautiful!!
